Austin was just grabbed off the line no call. I mean there’s contact within 5 then there’s a full on wrap up.

 

Rodgers juiced that throw, Metcalf was open.

Because it was open. The problem was the execution, not the choice of where to throw it. Maybe Metcalf can run a better route, but Rodgers needs to give him a chance there. He was hitting those throws earlier in the season, but he hasn't been nearly as accurate lately.

 

Need 4 throw for 15 and overthrow it to boot. Jesus Rodgers something wrong with making a 4 yard completion

Metcalf actually had him by a step but for some reason he let up and the throw was off.

 

And then there was the "need 12 throw for 8" play.

 

Not looking good for us scoring a bunch of points today.

Need the defense to make at least one big play.

 

Wind probably had something to do with that pass, but after last week , I have a problem with Rodgers throwing off

 

Had to throw on third down there. The throw on first down was effective. It isn't the plays. It is the line and Rodgers not doing their jobs.

I would not mind some first down throws when we're third down rather than bombs as well. We connect on those long throws one out of every four or five times maybe? Seems like we would be more consistent if we just went for the first down.
