I've been wanting to see them for years, but haven't yet. I'll probably go next time they come near where I live.

I've always wondered if these tribute band make more than us regular cover bands. It seems like they must, and that's how they don't get bored only playing one bands music that they didn't write everyday.

I know last time Brit Floyd was in our area, they sold out a 5,000 seat place, so I'm guessing so.

Wow, just checked, and for a tribute band, their prices are crazy. $90 for the cheapest and plenty more expensive than that. That's more than some well known bands I've seen recently.

The one time I almost went about 7 or 8 years ago, I think they were $30 a ticket for Brit Floyd.

LoL. Well I guess that answers my question. LoL.
Just seems like it would get old just doing something you didn't write by the same bans, night after night. I couldn't imagine it. Hell I've had people request a song we've already done in a night, and I don't want to replay it. LoL

I'd love seeing them. All I've ever been to is those Pink Floyd laser shows.

Steeler fans are kind of like two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year.;)

Having seen the original PF about 8 times plus Gilmour's 2005 (?) tour for his Islands record, I personally wouldn't pay to see a tribute concert. If you never saw them live, then yes, it would be a great experience. I've seen video concerts of several of the PF tribute bands and they are all very good, but...................is Mr Pibb as good as Dr Pepper? First concert of theirs I saw was the Dark Side tour at the LA Hollywood Bowl in summer 1973 soon after the album was released. In later years, they used a giant inflatable re-creation of the Bowl as their stage backdrop. Lots of flying pigs and airplanes at their shows. Oh yeah, and a wee bit of wacky tobacky permeating the air. :guitarplayer:

I wouldn't either, but I don't hold against anyone who would.

    Get the Led Out
    Coming to Columbia in March
    Heard they are pretty good
    Love Led Zeppelin
Got me into rock n roll
Original band in my opinion sucked live
Had a chance to go see them for $25
    But
    John Bonham died

    Brit Floyd reviews are
overwhelmingly positive, consistently praising them as an exceptional Pink Floyd tribute band known for stunningly accurate recreations of the music, elaborate light & laser shows, and authentic production, with fans calling them "as close as you'll ever get" to the real experience, though some newer reviews mention slight variations in vocal performances or stage focus. Reviewers highlight flawless musicianship, impressive vocals (especially "The Great Gig in the Sky"), extensive setlists covering deep cuts and classics, and high value for money, often recommending them as a must-see for any Pink Floyd fan.

I saw Zep in the Burgh for 5.00. In 69-70 can't recall. I've seen Aerosmith twice, The Guess Who, Rod Stewart all for under 5.00 each. I now pay more for my medium iced coffee at Dunkin then I did to see those bands.
