Forget about the no trade clause...No way we will have a top 10 draft pick by the giants even if this is a pick swap. The most we could have is the same that the saints had from the broncos for Sean Payton, like the 28th overall pick

I would take that too but it don't mean we will have a offer like that if Tomlin is on the trade market

The Buccaneers gave the Raiders 2 firsts and 2 seconds & $8m for Jon Gruden; the Jets gave up a first and second for Bill Parcells; the Sean Peyton trade involved a first and second round as well, so I'd argue a 1st round pick swap and a 3rd actually favors the Giants. But I digress.

Even tho he had the opportunity to play for the greatest player’s coach ever?
Mikey would coach him up to be a future HOF.
    This isn’t a true story
    Can’t wait until the draft
    38 picks
Got to get lucky with one of them
    This is a true story

    If Tomlin goes to NY
Dart will be out of league
    Next season
    Or on his 4 team

My question would be: what does Tomlin stand to gain, other than a pay raise, by going to a franchise that has very little stability at the HC & GM positions, even if he took Weidle with him to NY? I see little benefits for such a move. CFB would offer him a challenge and add to his coaching legacy; however, that's a ton more work for him and I can't see him in recruits living rooms. Now Amazon offering him $20-25m to replace Herbstreit would probably be enticing. More $$$/ less work, and gets to spend more time supporting his wife's career. I don't see him being traded nor fired, ever. Mutually going their separate ways, due to a difference of direction in team building would be the likely way this ends.

Funny you mentioned PSU, I can see Adidas throwing Tomlin a bag to go there... As for the booth, I was referring to Thursday Night Football and becoming this generation's John Madden.

I am not impressed with his speaking skills
You really think he is Maddenesque?
Of course I really like Romo
But apparently I am the minority

I personally don't think he is, but people like Al Michaels think he is. Al was hinting at it back in January.

Since I'm in Portland, I'm indifferent. I like Pitt's chances to make this a game or even win. Pitt seems to upp its game against ND historically. Wouldn't surprise me if we beat ND and then lose out.

I see a fresh start for both parties involved
Might be also beneficial for both parties involved

Nope, Lindy Infante was the NFL coach of the year in 1989.

I seem to recall my dad complaining about him (probably not in '89). He was promoted to Packer fan when Ron Wolf came aboard as the GM. Holmgren was the replacement, with Wolf trading for Favre the same offseason.

Sigh... look at Coordinators under the age of 40 to figure out a potential shortlist; I'd put Chris Shula at the top of anyone's list. Young DC and would bring an OC from the McVay/Shanahan tree.
