More people than just Florio have commented on how something is off with Rodgers. I wonder if he would hang it up during the season.

Nah...I don't see Rodgers as a quitter. Having a bad last season is one thing, quitting altogether during it is another.

    If injured, maybe.

    Clickbait

    Nope

Not if he is still starting

It would be an insult to the Steelers and he would not do that

Now if he just doesn’t have it and he is benched

He just got beat up in his worst game of the season. He’ll either checkout from here on out or fight back.

This is just crazy. After the Colts game Florio was just so High on Rodgers and the Steelers propping them up as the best team in the AFC. 1 week later, complete reversal. Florio doing whatever he can for the VIEWS.

If Steelers are out of the playoffs, it makes no sense for Rodgers to hang around and take a beating. He may stick around to pick up extra money, but he doesn’t need money that badly.

What if Rodgers acknowledges to himself that he doesnt have it anymore and conveys that to the Steelers and mutually agree to part ways?

I would think he would just head to the bench as opposed to leaving the team?

IMO, Aaron Rodgers and Co. will bounce back this week.

Talking head I heard by chance today has made his proclamation that the Steelers close out second half 3-5. Ravens 6-2.

My guess is that he’s embarrassed by his performance Sunday night, and is highly focused on not letting that type of crappy performance happen again. Unlike when he was with the Jets, there is still a chance to achieve something beyond just ringing up stats.

    This week will be telling.

Maybe, apparently he is very fond of Howard, they hangout away from the facility. Maybe hed want to stay on to continue mentoring him or maybe he would feel his presence would add pressure if Howard struggled fans would call for him to be put back in.

If Rodgers is going down the same path as Wilson did, looked good early before the wheels fell off, then I want them to go to Howard sooner rather than later. I think the kid can play.

I don't blame him. There's no point risking to get hurt. Specially when most of our receivers run around like a toddler

Correct. In no way shape or form did he say he was washed up. He said he played poorly, needs to be better and will be better. That isn't even close to the thread title.

I don't see that happening it will be a while before they're out of playoff contention, I don't think he will want to end his career by being a quitter.

I am with @jeh1856@jeh1856 on this.

As it stands?! I believe he is more pissed off than anything. Now, if he is benched?! I can foresee such an event happening.

For that to happen though?! Not just Rodgers but the entire team will have collapsed by then. I can say this though; next four opponents?! Yikes!!
