I guess You didn't read what I wrote, and since I started the thread , I would then guess You are speaking to me.
    1. I don't hate Rodgers.
    2. I had no Idea how he would be here.
    3. He has played fairly decent until the last two games.
    4. Saying that this loss is mainly on him, and pointing it out doesn't mean I hate him.
    5. If You actually watched it a second time, and the blocking was bad, please tell me how many times they blocked fairly well, and Rodgers would then run up the middle past he OL, and then instead of actually running, or throwing a pass, he took a sack??? He was too busy watching the pass rush like a rookie.

He was seeing ghost, and that was the most depressing thing, because many of times, if He just stayed in the pocket, it would have helped. He was dancing around like He was in freaking Footloose, even when he didn't have to. Sometimes You have to take a hit to make a good pass.

Arod was just bad, period. He has this thing about stepping up into the pocket, which is a vet move but that night was exactly the wrong thing to do. So, I guess our line at the center was a big problem. But, As Ben says, quit running into trouble. He made it too easy on them for the sack. Then there’s the throws, I yie yie… Forget about it!

Just hope he snaps out of it this week. Go Steelers!

Agreed, and I actually expect him to preform better this week, but the whole,if he had done it last week, would have put us into a good position. Go Steelers.

Usually when I address people, I will reply directly to them.. I never was a shy type of guy.
I agree on most all points, but I don't feel like recounting... since 40% Pass plays were harassed, I would imagine another 20% were covered plays, and probably 40% were there...since there were only 31 passes, 16 seems reasonable..
Still, I agree Rogers was bad and we know Rogers said same. It was bad.

I wouldn't put too much pressure on myself, If I disagree, I typically say why. No issue here.

That's the thing with looking at stats, or percentages. If a player moves the wrong way , he will be harassed, but it doesn't actually show why he was harassed. He caused many of those so called harassment to himself, and none of that has anything to do with the passes that he did throw that were way too high. He was panicking , even when he had no reason to.

    True..... with some stipulations...

So, over the years I've gotten very good with watching film breaking it down and jogging stats.
Just to rehash one I was looking at.

Broderick Jones starts off with a pretty decent block but does get pushed back deep to where Rogers is supposed to be.
Rogers steps up and because it's a zone, it looks like he is going to run with some open field in front of him.
Inexplicably, Jones lets off his block and the Defender reverses field and sacks Rogers as he starts..

    - We can take from it that Rogers is not fast anymore.
    - We can take from it that Jones lets off his block - he didn't "block till the whistle."
    - I think they had good coverage... but there's good argument that breaking for the open field in his youth would have produced maybe 15 yards or so.
    What's it count?
    - Was it blocking?
    - Did Rogers panic and run?
    - Was the coverage there?

So, 40% is probably a decent stat for pressure, he didn't just run, there was some motivation.
But I agree... it was a terrible game from Rogers.
And leave it at that.... I want this ugliness to just become a bad memory.
We can run every player, every second of every snap and find lots of reasons. Somebody else gets paid to do that.

Rodgers was horrible in that game and looked like an old man making business decisions. That being said the O Line is regressing and the D gave up way too many big runs to a third string RB. This team is in big trouble but A Rod was by far the number 1 reason Sunday Night.

    I was just watching
Exactly !! He literally looked afraid to take a hit all night. Meanwhile, Herbert was fearless. Here’s my take. A-Rod made the choice to come back at his age and play at this level. You want to play at the highest level then show some damn courage. Step up and make the throws.

I just watched the film breakdown and he did have some open receivers, kept throwing the ball into the ground when he had more time, took an absurd safety in the end zone from the 9 yard line !! If I’m being completely honest, he’s looked scared all season, even in the dubs.

Man up bro or let someone else have an opportunity. With all this said, I still…albeit reluctantly, think he gives us our best chance to win every Sunday. Just play hard and let the chips fall where they may. Stop playing like a pu**y

I agree, and I don't normally look at one player in a loss, I'm more of the "everyone contributed to the loss" kind of guy. However, in this game the biggest factor by far was the awful play of Rodgers. For the record, I have not come here and complained about him after any other game, and before he signed I was indifferent to him coming to Pittsburgh and even posted how pleasantly surprised I've been about his attitude as a Steeler. I think I can say without bias that he was the biggest factor in losing the game, and just a decent game and the Steelers are probably up 14 early and the outcome could have been much different.

I don't think I ever saw a QB throw a pass and then immediately turn his back like Rodgers did against LA. He wasn't concerned about if the ball was caught or where it was sailing to, only that he didn't get hurt on the play. Playing the worst defense in the league this upcoming week should help him have a better game but I'm afraid he's just going to get worse as the season goes on. Rodgers turns 42 in a couple of weeks so it isn't going to get better for him.

I think this was the concern all along. His arm is still good and his mobility isn’t as bad as I thought it would be honestly. Not stepping into throws to avoid injury was the elephant in the room.

He’s been in the NFL for years so he’s definitely not a pussy. However, playing like one is a different matter. I didn’t infer he was a pussy per-sa , only that he’s been playing like one. I don’t feel I’m being hyperbolic either. He certainly looked like a scared little girl Sunday night. He’s the one that thinks he can continue to play at the highest level, regardless of age. I say, prove it.
