Team is pretty bad this year. I still find it funny that fans are saying “this might finally be the year we have a losing season” or “we will still go 9-8 and make the playoffs and get blasted”

and I’m ready for Mike to go but I know its not happening until he chooses or in 2027 at the earliest.

 

What if the things go south badly ( unlikely but still possible ) ?

 

Tomlin could lose every game from here on out and go 5-12 and I guarantee he will be a Steelers HC in 2026. Rooneys are way too loyal to this guy. If by happenstance he were to be let go his phone would start ringing about 15 minutes later. He aint the worst but his time here has become stale.

 

Meh. Ugly loss. Not the first, won't be the last. There will be some more good wins this year and some more ugly losses. We've been on this ride before, nothing has changed, we all know how it ends.

 

Last nights offense brought me back to the Mark Malone years.

Mark Malone had his moments and wasn’t as bad as AR was last night.

 

For one game I agree AR was worse than Malone.

 

I really wanted them to win that game....but we Steelers fans can't have nice things.

Team is average and won't likely make the playoffs.

 

Well, it could always be worse........Packers/Eagles 0-0 in the third quarter.......lol

 

Burrow showed up at practice today and is going to start working with the team. Joe Flacco is playing his best football ever. They are hinting at Burrow starting the Thanksgiving game but that is extremely optimistic. All of it won’t matter though cause the Rats will probably win the division and the Bengals could probably beat our Steelers again even with that crappy defense. Browns are just gonna brown.

 

Is this the parity they’ve been aiming for. Great games followed by crap storms?

And both will still be considered legit competitors for the SB tomorrow morning.

 

Yeah, that's not what you want with an aging defense. That is the complete opposite of complementary football.

 

He can come back, but he relinquishes the job of hiring coaches to others. Bring in an independent minded DC and let them hire the various defensive position coaches. Hire a proven OL coach. I’d go as far as dumping Smith and bring in an OC
