0-9 on 3rd down conversions before getting one in garbage time.

 

was always worried that Rodgers skills could quickly start falling off a cliff. One of the risks of signing a 42 year old Qb.

 

none of the conversions were easy cause we stunk it up on 1st and 2nd

 

Every talking head said we need to run the ball to have a chance to win..

I still need to see how Broderick ends the season personally. Right now, I'd say his odds of being given that extension are 50/50. Mind you I still need to see the game. That said, going against Khalil Mack was going to be a challenge regardless. However, those are the match ups you expect a Top 15 Pick at LT to contend with.


Again, need to rewatch the game but after Laiatu Latu?!.. man..

 

The worst part is, this squad has been effective running the ball when given a chance. Smith and Tomlin just aren't committed to running the ball.

 

I got to wonder if Rodgers has audible out of a lot runs at the line?

 

Could be... or he decides pass more often on RPO plays.

 

This would be a great idea... if Broderick is gone in 2027 and if the Steelers draft a RT of the future in 2026. Beyond that?! Who's to say.


It is inadvisable to flip a players position when they have so many snaps accumulated there. Assuming Troy stays healthy for this season and the next, that will be close to 2K snaps. Not an easy thing to replace.

 

Rodgers looked like a Rookie QB or a Jets QB tonight.

 

I thought it was a mistake to go for it with 12 minutes left.

I realize it was a two score game, but if you kick the FG and get 2 quick scores, you still have a chance for late field goal to win it.

rogers played his age and looked at times like a deer in the headlights . Why not let rudolf play when rogers is playing real bad) like tonight. It could not have gotten any worse , nothing to lose but tomlins pride . Will never admit his fixes last about as long as a paper bag in a monsoon.

 

Not sure why no one blames the offensive offense on the guy who runs the offense, Smith. We all shred Canada for not having a game with more than 400 total yards. How many 400 yards game does this offense have? One against a woeful Bengals D playing without their best player. Watching this offense is like watching paint dry

 

I do wonder if I died during the pandemic and can't help but wonder if somehow I've been stuck in purgatory.

 

Look at the performances in these games as a whole, and the team is simply not very good, it's been insanely lucky to be 5-4 - two huge turnover games needed to be beat NE and Indy (and even then we barely scraped by NE) - if we played NE and Indy again we'd lose both, beat stains convincingly, scraped by the awful Jets and awful Minnesota...

 

They couldn't even muster a decent play call on 3rd and 2.

My complaint is the wasted timeout in the 2nd half. We only needed 1 yard for a 1st down and Rodgers is doing all of these checks and trying to look smart.
This offense has looked the same all year and I would rather see a rookie throw dump offs.

 

I think we had a penalty the first play of the game. I knew we wouldn't get a 1st down.
