Trade Deadline

Rodgers was spot on in his presser yesterday when he said; 'you can tell a lot about a player when they don't get the looks or targets because of the defense or the game plan'. Was this a veiled jab at a former Steeler WR?

 

I don't know. Rodgers doesn't have any experience with GP that he would need to send a veiled jab. He's probably experienced enough with other WRs throughout his career.

You and me both. He had a higher grade than 3rd round coming out (he even said he thought that we were drafting him when we called Zach Frazier's name).

Miller seems okay enough, but he's never caught for more than 200 yards in his career aside from one season with Tom Brady. I don't expect him to be a real contributor... mostly just depth.

For sure, but there was 0% chance we were giving him a contract past 2025... so it is what it is. Having him here would be only helpful for this year. We'd be in the same place in the offseason that we are now with the WR room...

Let's just say that I find the reporting on that dubious. If I heard the story about Meyers directly from Kobaly, I might believe it. It would also tell me that Meyers is an idiot.

Well maybe we give them picks because we look horrible tonight. Rodgers has NOBODY to throw the ball to except Metcalf. He is just ok as well. Complains too much.

 

How many games have they lost because they didn't keep Pickens or find a viable replacement? This is one. Rodgers was horrible, but not having a second receiver is a huge reason why he hasn't had anywhere to go with the ball far too often tonight.
