It's possible they won't be in the Super Bowl, but they'll still be dangerous in January.

Going by much of the logic I've seen here after the Colts win, the Bills were at home, their D gave up 40 points, and they only won by 1 point on a FG at the gun. I've recently learned that this is not a quality win. At least they didn't force 6 turnovers so that's a redeeming point.

I don't know that. Every year is not the same. Also for the millionth time. Ive yet to see the Bills, or the Ravens make the SB with their current Qbs, unless I missed a whole Year somewhere. The only thing so freaking far the Bills, and the Ravens have won is......fans , and the media picks to go to the SB for the last 6 years, outside of that, they have made the playoffs, and lost before making it.

True. But they actually you know win playoff games and are close. You would think one of these years they can break through the Mahomes boogie man! Maybe they won’t though and KC will go to every SB the next 5 years. Because one things for certain it will be one of those 3.

Wait until the defense gets shredded again for 4+ scores...it's gonna happen, like night. The offense will have to match the points given up.... somwhere in the lower to upper 40's range.

You guys do know that 3 of those 5 losses were with Lamar Jackson playing, and that 1 of the 3 wins were without Lamar Jackson playing. That means that with Lamar Jackson playing their record is 2-3. Not much different than the 3-5 they are now.

You are correct , KC deserves the benefit, but Bills, and Ravens do not.

LoL. Let's not go too far out on a limb predicting one of 3 teams will make it. LoL.
I wish I could make bets that way.

Unless that they face up each other in the wild card round,I expect that the chiefs, ravens and bills to all make the divisionnal round for the 4th time since 2020.Of course it could change if one of their QBs of those teams are out because of a injuries but if they are healthy this is my expectation

If the chiefs beat Denver in week 11 in Denver, they will win the AFC west again

Yeah, conference wins carry much more weight for sure. Yes, I'd love to beat the Lions... but if we beat LA, Buffalo, and Baltimore at least once, I think it is almost impossible for us to not be a playoff team and highly likely we do it as AFCN champs.

@ Chargers - This will be a tough game, LA is in a similar situation to us (a quality win vs the Broncos, but has poor losses vs. Washington and NYG). This one will have major WC implications.

BENGALS - This is a must win TBH. We can't get swept by a team that will likely be out of the playoff picture entirely by week 12 or so. We played about as poorly as we could defensively the first game. If we get a better effort, then we should win IMO

@ Bears - They are well coached, but don't really have one part of their team that sticks out. Mostly close wins against poor teams, and have been blown out by the better teams they've played. They're dangerous enough to lose to on the road if we don't show up to play though.

BILLS - This will be a tough one for obvious reasons. However, the Bills are a touch more vulnerable this season than they have been in the past. Cook is their only elite weapon outside of Allen and their defense is more susceptible than years' past. We still have to beat Allen though, and that isn't an easy task.

@ Ravens - Huge implications here. Can really put the Ravens in "must win" mode for the rest of the season if we take this one. We've had some success in Baltimore, but most of that has been because we've played against Huntley and not Jackson. We beat Lamar in 2020 in Baltimore. Baltimore is a desperate team and Lamar will be fully healthy. Tough game, but one that can really push us over the edge with a win.

DOLPHINS - Mike Tomlin is 20-3 all time on MNF and 10-0 at home. This is a home MNF game against a bad team... should be a win. HAS to be a win. I think we win easily.

@ Lions - This will be a tough test. Good roster, well coached... This is one that won't have a ton of implications if we lose since its an NFC team, but it certainly would be a great barometer late in the season to see if we look ready to take the next step and make some noise in the post season.

@ Browns - The Browns are awful and will have nothing to play for except ruining their own draft order. That isn't to say they wont want to beat us... but they are a team that has next to nothing offensively. If we don't turn the ball over en masse, we should win this easily.

RAVENS - Potentially could have the division crown or playoff appearance on the line for both teams. The Ravens fell behind the 8 ball with poor defensive play and then an injury to Jackson, but are still a quality team when healthy. This won't be an easy win (never is) and has the potential to be a big time matchup. We HAVE to take at least one from the Ravens if we want to win the North.

You really do wear your Steelers heart on your sleeve :lolol:

I’m not bashing them, Im pointing out that in order for them to be a complete team with a shot of going anywhere this season, they need to show they can get off the field by a change over of downs.

You disagree with that? You really think it’s sustainable winning games by relying on splash plays by the defense??? I know you know football better than that. Bengals and GB highlighted what happens to this defense when they dont get turnovers.
