Sayin is a sophomore, so he won't be in the 2026 class.

At this point, I still stand by Leavitt. However, that just leaves which position to target in the first?! Leavitt isn't First Round Material to me but he is still worth taking a look at. How Broderick and Joey Porter Jr fare for the remainder of the season will determine the pick.

Steelers scouts have scouted the likes of Francis Mauigoa, Caleb Lomu and Spencer Fano thus far. That isn't coincidence. That said, the team has also recently taken a liking to Dante Moore. Should Dante continue his level of play, gonna have to trade the farm for him.

Beyond Leavitt, Moore and maybe John Mateer, not too many others that I see.

Thats what I think of this draft class. It crashed and burned spectacularly after being touted as cant miss prospects.
Wouldnt waste our first rd pick on one of them. Your boy after the first as you stated would be fine

Oh hell no.... at least to Sellers anyways. On one hand, him fitting into Arthur Smith's Offense would be the best thing to happen for him. On the other hand?! A lot has to go right for him just to begin to reach out for that immeasurable potential of his; biggest key being Aaron Rodgers returning. All this stated, I seriously doubt he is making it into the 20s or wherever the hell the Steelers pick. Might have to trade up for him if the team is that interested. I truly hope the team isn't... but I won't be surprised if his name is a constant with the team.

That said, thankfully, he isn't the only option. Kadyn Proctor and LT Overton were also available; Proctor being the more appeasing of the two. That said, dude seriously needs to lighten up on his weight. Way too heavy.

Crazy take but I don't believe that, even for a second the Steelers would throw in the towel on Drew Allar either. Yes, his season ended in disaster but I seriously doubt the team won't bring him in for a Pre Draft Visit. The Steelers have shown way too much interest to him at this point; even when Penn State was beginning to collapse no less.

A third round pick?! Maybe but that depends on whatever the hell the board looks like come draft day in Pittsburgh.

Say no to Sellers. Dude has regressed and plays hero ball too much. He needs to stay in school another season.

Maybe enter the portal and get better supporting teammates.

I would take Fernando Mendoza if he dropped in the draft.

    Good luck to him
He is going to need it
    Saints are awful
Qb is the least of their problems
    Defense sucks
    But you know what’s sad?
Their defense is statistically better than ours
Their offense is only 2 spots behind us
Statistically we aren’t very good right now
At least we are in first place for at least 2 more weeks
    Hopefully longer
But, if defense keeps playing the way they have been
I don’t have much confidence we remain in first place
If I was a betting man Ravens probably win division :puking2:

Another QB who will likely return to school in 2026.

Arch Manning will be returning to Texas next year but he has really improved over the course of this season. He's looking better and better each game.

Well see. I had a third round grade on him. He's is the type with upside.

    Same.

Third Round grade for me as well. That said, he could have outplayed his draft slot. Regardless, a good decision for him.

It feels like there are only 4 QB's I'd even consider in the first round.... Mendoza, Moore, Simpson, Sellers. Each of them have upside and question marks.

Mendoza seems to be a pretty hard system QB. Going to be successful in the quick game and west coast style offense. He is like Flacco/Dalton/Goff, but doesn't have as good an arm as the three. Can his average measurables and inability to escape the pocket be made up for with quick decision making and an offense tailored for his skills? I think he has a good shot at being successful, but I am not sure that he is the right QB for us.

Moore can push the ball downfield beautifully... but he is kinda a disaster in the short and intermediate game. He has to develop his reads and placement if he wants to succeed in the NFL. He has a lot of development, but has a lot of great tools.

Simpson is a really nice prospect. Quick release, athletic enough to punish with his legs, good pocket presence... The question is his small sample size and his small body frame. Overall he's probably the guy I like the best. He has a bit of Baker Mayfield to him, but I don't think his arm is quite Baker-good.

Sellers is pretty unique and you have to sell out on wanting a Cam Newton/Jalen Hurts type QB. He's big and EXTREMELY strong. He breaks tackles and avoids sacks that it seems like he really shouldn't.... He has a big arm and is a great runner (in and out of design). He downfalls are that he needs better touch on the deep ball, and can improve his anticipation on routes. He is very risk/reward, but he definitely seems like a guy that could be a top 5 QB if it all clicks. He has better traits than Jalen Hurts (and is probably ahead of Hurts was as a passer at the same point of their career). He's not as raw as Anthony Richardson, but he is a little bit of a project as a QB. However, he COULD be that guy that walks into a good offense and has a Jayden Daniels type explosion so long as he is surrounded by talent and the OC builds an offense around him. He's talented for sure. He could very well be a good fit in Arthur Smith's offense too.
