    Yep, this. I do like to imagine our offense with both DK and a team-focused GP, but I don’t believe such a combination was possible w/o resorting to a heave it every down offense like Dallas has to keep GP fed enough to keep him from being a problem.

    I’m actually a bit intrigued to see what MVS can do for us. Last year he averaged over 22 yards per catch with 4 TDs in 8 games with the Saints. He had good chemistry with Rodgers early in his career, which to me means that he’s likely to be where Rodgers expects him to be, and that’s really important. I have no expectation that he’ll be a star for us, but he may be productive enough to help. Also, he’s a field stretcher and that helps clear the rest of the field for other players.

    It is always the same with this organisation. They think they know what they are doing but they do not. They look clueless and without plan. Bringing in a bunch of old guys which shows they want to win NOW but then they don’t on the other hand. They get a grandpa hall of fame quarterback and give him dk but trade away their best receiver. They don’t bring in a new guy to help him, they don’t bring in help for the secondary. Do you want to win NOW, or do you still only care about tomorrow and the future? Guess what - if you intend to win big, at some point you have to care about the here & now. Get proven guys who already showed what they are capable of in this league. But nope, always feared about their draft capital. Where are all the bloody draft picks from the last 5-7 years? Show me.

    Because the asking price was too high for receivers like Meyers and Shaheed, both of them got traded for multiple picks.

    But don’t worry we got geriatric MVS! He had around 4 catches for 20 yards with the Niners when they had basically their top 3 WRs hurt for a few weeks.

    IMO opinion this is the Jags saying Trevor, this is your last chance. This guy was supposed to be all this by every so called draft expert, and they have spent, and spent picks, and money on surrounding him with guys, and still not much to show for it.
