- Their defense sucked,
- dak finished with a 77 rating,
- down by ten and then
- williams fumbled on that drive.

But keep being silly to thinking that cost them the game of Pickens.

By the way, their fans called the refs soft.

They were down 10 with 4 minutes to play when Pickens was called for taunting. They needed to get into FG range and cut the Cardinals lead to 7 and then with all of their timeouts left force a 3 and out from the Cardinals and get the ball back to tie it. But that strategy never worked because Pickens stupid penalty cost them the 15 yards they needed to get in FG range. Yes Williams fumbled at the Cardinals 37 yard line but that play wouldn't have happened if they were at the 22 yard line instead because they would have already kicked the FG. They weren't quite in FG range when Williams fumbled because of the 15 yards that Pickens cost them. The Cowboys probably would have lost anyway because the Cardinals were much better last night but Pickens dumb taunting call sure crippled any chance they had.

 

And at the end of the day...GP is all about GP. It's not a talent thing.

Again, he's putting up stats. Also he's been encouraging the team to be better on the bench and huddles. Speculations are Players willing to take a pay cut to keep him on the team. Lamb even went on record saying he'll help squeeze the most money out of the cowboys to keep him on the team.

The only people who think pickens is trouble is y'all and steelers media. Everyone else sees the cowboys won a trade and obtained a great player. And when there is stupid stuff, like last night, they see it's refs needing attention for things that should not be a penalty.

You seriously think holding a ball at another player should be taunting? Because nfl this morning, mannings last night and announcers last night all thought it was a dumb penalty to call.

Pickens is a self centered player who is not an overall asset to the team

 

He just cough ups the ball and gives up making tackles when there's an interception. And let's balls bounce off his chest because he wasn't trained to catch with his hands.

 

You're down 10...just fumbled prior to that and your instinct is to stick the ball in a dudes face instead of get back to the huddle? You crack me up. Whether or not it should have been called is arguable, but his selfishness is not.

 

Only y'all see it that way. Nfl this morning, announcers last night and even the mannings show ended with how dumb that penalty was to being called. They're saying how soft the shield has become.


And like I've said, y'all would have not survived true steel curtain days. You do know Lambert slammed a brown fan out of bounds, or what about the cowboys incident with our kicker? Those would all be stuff flagged today and y'all would be hating on Lambert...... that is how weak you've become.

No one should be thinking holding a ball at another player should warrant a unsportsman penalty. And sure as heck no one celebrating from outside teams...... but here you are.

 

Y’all really think that unsportsmanlike penalty (while they were already down by ten, with a QB rating in the 70s and a RB fumbling) is somehow Pickens’ fault for the loss? Meanwhile, DK literally coughed up the ball to the Bengals where we lost by two points...... Be serious.

 

The rules of the game are in place regardless of your feelings of them. GP knows the rules and chooses to break them because he is a narcissist or he doesn't have the mental capacity to control himself. Either way, it's a detriment to the collective effort.

We'll see how he handles himself as the Titanic (Cowboys) sinks the rest of the season. He is in a contract year after all so there may be some level of self control taking place.
