#3 was BIGGEST BEST MOVE and starting a young fresh Errols CB, FINALLY playing some youth. It takes Tomlin a while, as we know

#5 - Front 7 came alive - YES!

#8 PORTER SUCKS! good for at LEAST 2 PI's , holding each week. Cover - no. He GRABS, that is only way he can cover.

Can't speak for others, but I don't hate Austin.

I do think he's a much better fit as a strong WR3 vs. a weak WR2.

While he gives a lot of effort re: blocking, I don't think he's physically big / strong enough to be out there every play.

He did throw a nice block yesterday. But he gets rag dolled a bunch too.

Yeah i don't get the hate. But this place hates in weird directions. I swear it's a big click at times.

Anyhow, we really do need a legit #2 WR. And we need someone behind Warren to compliment him.

I can’t agree more. We need a better O-line, another WR, a better RB, and yesterday being the exception we need help on the defensive side of the ball.

Yes, Warren scored 2 TDs yesterday but he carried the ball 16 times for 31 yards which is 1.9 yards a carry. I’m not saying he’s terrible bc he’s had some good games all around running and catching the ball but he’s very inconsistent. Then DK is a good receiver but he drops too many passes and he’s doubled almost every game. We have no real secondary threat to take the defense away from him. I mean Pat and Warren are good but we need more.

I know they are not going to spend anymore of the defense and I don’t blame them. If they play like they did yesterday then the defense won’t be an issue but we’ve seen them get burnt too much to believe that. I hope I am wrong and they catch fire. All in all I think if we can get a decent receiver like Shaheed from the Saints that would be good. He’s not a beast but he’s pretty good and he’s not had a good QB. I can’t think of a running back but maybe someone like Zack Moss or someone like that would be a decent addition. I don’t think we would spend the money to get someone better. Then trade for an offensive lineman. I don’t know the names of the O-line players except on our team.

 

I’d like to see Johnson get a few more touches each week.

That was a pretty sweet play by the rook. He should get a few more shots each week. The hands looked good and I liked the burst.
