My thoughts on reg season wk 9

1. Welcome back defense...we missed you guys

2. The way they bottled up Jonathan Taylor bot inspires me and pisses me off because of the failures of the last few wks

3. Moving Jaylen Ramsey to fs was bigger than the stats show

4. Nice to see Mt Washington getting involved

5. Damn near the entire front 7 got into the sack parade

6. Watt, Highsmith, Herbig, Wilson and Queen were all huge

7. Broderick Jones had been looking good since his struggles the 1st 2 wks....
This wk though, he had issues with laiatu latu

8. Joey Porter Jr is easily our best cover corner, and came up big when we needed it most . But he definitely has to work on his technique and eliminate all that grab ass

9. That Danny Smith out of bounds kickoff call was pure genius

10. If the defense plays like this all the time, we would be a legitimate threat against anyone

 

Come on man, you type these up after 3rd qtr.?

 

We stay two games ahead of the Ravens with this win.

 

Great win. That colts offence has been blowing everyone away and the Steelers shut them down and took the ball away at every opportunity

I was as critical as anyone after the disappointing performances in recent weeks but credit where credit is due, the D was absolutely flying today. Very impressive

Offence still looks like it’s missing something but they’re doing enough, especially if the D can start playing like this every week

 

That is spot on. Hope it can be repeated in La La land.

Credit to the Colts HC who is not afraid to go for it on 4th down. Had success so far this season but might want to re-think it now that Jones is being Jones.

1) good win, but the score was closer than it shouldve been.

2) defense showed out

3) we may not see Roman Wilson on the field again for a while

4) felt like the most complete game the team (offense, defense, special teams) we've had in a while

 

And Bengals. We got a 2 game lead with 9 to play.

 

Felt good to comfortably win a game. I'm going to enjoy the moment and post later.

 

Also, Wilson essentially made it obvious the Steelers will trade for a new WR tomorrow lolol

Now the bears just score a TD against the complete sorry defense of the bengals

This win was HUGE. We go from season over to Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go!!!, maybe. LOL.

 

It's always great to read these. I also think the Colts were exposed today, they weren't as good as their record and they were due to get beat. Amazing how the Steelers can win games while being greatly outgained by the other team.

I hope the defense plays like they did today the rest of the season.

The offense puts up points but it looks like a struggle at times. Offensive line needs work Rodgers will be lucky to finsh the season uninjured.

 

It's hard to know what to take away from such a flukey game.

The pass rush was the difference obviously. Our big$ duo played like they had a pulse.

The offense really under performed considering the gifts they were given all game long.

 

Wilson must have thought he was still trying to leap on that moving train!

 

DK was not able to get open this game. Only 6 yards.

 

I knew the only way the Steelers were going to beat the Colts was to get 2-3 turnovers, they got six instead .
