I never read the Batman in comics. I watched all the corny stuff from the 60's. Pow Bam Boom. I watch a few on the movies back in late 80's early 90's. Recently I re-watched The Batman which had Robert Pattinson as Batman. A movie that brought about The Penguin on HBO.

IMO that was best Batman. Any of you who read the comics back then, was Batman a troubled soul in the books??? He was portrayed as so corny a lot of the time I was shocked how serious he was in 2022 The Batman movie.

He has no super powers, right?? Just all those gadgets.

I absolutely loved that 60's Adam West Batman show.

I have read some of Batman in comics form, mostly just certain story lines in the graphic novel version.(ex...Killing Floor).

Batman has no "Super Powers". Its gadgets, his suit, and sheer will. Think MCU's Iron Man

The Christopher Nolan Trilogy starring Christian Bale is, IMNSHO, the best live action incarnation of Batman to date.

Michael Keaton's Batman was great in all of it's near campy glory. Nostalgia puts him at some people's top of the list. He'd be my 1B.

Everyone else has sucked. Out loud. And they're ALL still better than Robert Pattinson.

Hell, even Pete Holmes' "Badman" parody is better than Robert Pattinson. (All of those skits are hilarious and I highly recommend them if you've never seen them).

"The Batman" and even the spinoff shows aren't necessarily bad. Zoe Kravitz was great as Catwoman. And Collin Farrell's Penguin is now the standard, just as Heath Ledger set the standard for the Joker. Robert Pattinson is so God awful, he drags it all down. To be fair, maybe he's just portraying it as ordered and it's the writer/director who sucks. But everything else is fine, so...

Please, please, PLEASE don't let Twilightman anywhere near the DCU.

Recently, Pete Holmes revived his Badman character for new skits. But this time, his Batman is firing Justice League members (brought about, I'm sure, by everyone getting nixed for the new DCU). They're not quite as funny as the original skits. But this one is amazing:

My favorite Pete Holmes Batman parody (hidden in spoilers because warning: VERY adult themed - but funny as hell. You've been warned):
