That tomahawk chop is just annoying. Weird that people are offended by the Redskins and Indians names enough to cancel them out but Chiefs and Braves still ok and do the Tomahawk chop.

 

The Chiefs did away with the horse and rider. I think the horses name was Warpaint.

Other than that the Chiefs and Braves just said no.

At a game vs Titans, a couple years ago, with Titans fans sitting directy behind us went crazy when Renegade came on in the fourth. They said that it was the reason they came up for the game. I told them no worries, it only works like 40% of the time. Sure enough they scored on that drive but the Steelers won the game.

I was there. I like Renegade, even though it may be a statistical anomaly of motivation for our opponent, but it does seem to wake up the crowd.

Of course, when they've played it in the past, it felt like things had been building to that moment. When they played it this time, we were getting the boots put to us and I think Herbig had just been flagged for unnecessary roughness on the punt. GB was starting in our territory and when they started it, I think the word 'Really?' was what I was hearing the most. Just didn't feel like we deserved it at that moment, and the crowd was certainly deflated. I like it when we have them backed up and the game is on the line, etc. Problem was, we were never backing them up so it sort of felt like an 'I guess now' moment. At least we were still technically in the game. Against the Colts, they may have to play it in the first quarter! Maybe before opening kickoff!
