1 concussion away from retirement Chris Olave, that's paert of the reason they're cashing in. I would not touch him. Don't waste draft picks chasing at best another humiliating playoff loss.

I got it! Lets trade for a few more older vet corners! :lolol:

But really they might look at a guard depending the report about Seumalo's pec injury in which he had previously and missed time.

I wouldn't throw away picks for a receiver. They did that last season and didn't throw to him. Artie Smiff needs to figure out the weapons he has.

At this point I would not trade away any future draft capital for a player. A 1 year rental WR2, or really any other position, isn’t going to move the needle enough to matter.

I would only consider trading for a young up and coming player with 2+ years left on his rookie deal who could be part of a rebuilt team. Those guys are rarely offered up when teams are cleaning house.

Agreed. Any trade has to be for the long term. They should not invest any more in this current team. It's going nowhere.

I'd rather be a seller than buyer. Time to offload Highsmith, Muth and Ramsey.

After last night, we can have Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase and Puka Nakua and results would still be the same because Rodgers has no time to throw.

Doesn’t matter. You play to win and that goes for improving the roster when you can.

In the last two losses the offense scored enough points to win, the defense didn't do their job and get any turnovers or stops and not enough sacks.

    You dont sell at 4-3

And they arent firing Tomlin so there is no point starting a rebuild.

We should trade Freiermuth…Jonu has put Muth on the bench….

We are paying him too much money to not play.

The best part of that piece was the update on Elliot. With how it looked when it happened, a hyperextension would be very good news.

I'm sticking to the position that trading for a WR2 would be a waste of draft capital. Until I see differently, Metcalf, Wilson, and Austin (and MVS, if it makes Aaron feel better) are fine for the version of Smith's offense they've run thus far. I could maybe see a larger receiver with better blocking skills on the table if they'd commit to the run long enough for it to make sense, but it doesn't, especially with the heavy dose of TE packages they run.

The help is needed on the other side of the ball, but it's hard to find young talent at the deadline. An aging rental isn't going to push the needle enough. I really don't want to see a repeat of Mike Williams and Preston Smith.

Totally agree, we need to be hoarding picks and blowing this **** up, like we should have done years ago. All we have done is wasted another season on Captain Calamity and his all-pop warner defense.

Part of the problem is Rodgers did not play during the preseason, so they are not yet jelling as a whole. At first the D was carrying the team with turnovers, but has since gone to sleep. They don't have enough horses to win a shootout and none of Tomlin's teams has ever been known for discipline.

I know the NFL is different now, but awhile ago lining up and playing your position consistently was more common than the freewheeling show boaters you see more of today. Notwithstanding, if the Steelers had anybody that showed up to play more than 3 games in a row without attitude or any other excuse, then it would not look so bleak.

Everybody is to blame for lack of effort, bad judgement or being out of position and falling asleep during games. Even Rodgers let his emotions get the best of him against the Bengals when he did not go back to Warren for an easy first down and instead threw a moonball pick. If I was serious about winning I would have benched Warren and put in Gainwell to nip it. If Rodgers is not thinking way ahead, then the offense will not execute.

The defense got off to a great start and has sputtered once the turnovers dried up. What happened? The turnovers were literal substitutes for proper execution on defense by all the FAs the front office picked up in money ball.

Chuck Noll will probably go down as the greatest coach ever of the team. He also had Dan Rooney.

This team is more appropriate for their own episode of Football Follies than the dramatic baritone of John Facenda narrating great plays.

The annual Week 12 meltdown is happening early this year.

We need to get as many draft choices as possible, and cut bait
With a few players by doing this. It is up to Art 2 to grow a pair
and make difficult decisions regarding his team. There is no solution
other than fire the whole coaching staff.
