Ditch Renegade

Of all the things that are wrong with this team, I am 100% certain that Renegade isnt the issue!!

 

The Packers mocked the Steelers by playing Renegade in their locker room after the game. It's become a joke around the league so yeah it's time to drop it.

 

I mean, it's outdated

 

Play the powderpuff theme its more fitting

 

Dandy Don used to sing it every MNF game towards the end when the outcome was clear: "Turn out the lights................."

 

when renegade can apply be replaced with tip toe thru the tulips you get tomlins Steelers .

Yes, it needs dropped. This defense doesn't deserve it nor have they earned the
right to here it. They suck.

 

I quite literally said the very same thing the moment I heard the song playing last night. I mean it’s like seriously, do they think playing it has any impact whatsoever on the psych of this porous defense ? I couldn’t help but to laugh last night as soon as it came on.

I said this in the game day thread. Don’t ditch it entirely, but don’t play it anymore for this defense. They don’t deserve it…. And it’s embarrassing when they just roll over and let the opposition march down the field right after it plays.

Maybe we can play a medley of Nickelback songs.

 

Meh...it gets the crowd hype. Should fans stop getting loud on 3rd down, or stop yelling defense just because the other team gets a first down or scores?

Now I do think that whoever decides when to play it could be a little better picking spots.

Terrible Towel gets mocked too. Whatevs...part of the game.

I like this idea… defense has to earn it and be Top 3-5 in league to get it played. But sadly it’s become more of a ticket selling scheme. They use to not even play it when getting blown out then the fans would cry “They got destroyed and I didn’t see Renegade”

I think Korn - Blind 99 Woodstock is more fitting for this defense last few years.
