    Got a good explanation/excuse for tonight’s game?

He always does. Refs will be tonight’s power ball.

Oh, they played a role for sure, but this was a pure meltdown and was clearly going to end up that way regardless of a few bad calls. The team lost all composure and seemingly any will to compete physically.

Refs suck all the time good teams overcome it. Yes they missed a blatant offside that doesn’t mean you turtle and give up 25 points immediately after.

Ok if it's all about matchups then all we need to do is play teams with QB's that can't throw on time and accurately, and don't even dress TE's because we can't cover them or tackle them.

    No defense
    2 weeks in a row
If Browns had a qb they would’ve beat us
    This defense is for real
    Not good

We're not good enough to overcome adversity. We needed a fumbled kickoff and a 60 yard FG to nip the Jets. We needed the Patriots to put the ball on the ground not 3, not 4 but 5 times to eke out that game. If we don't win the turnover battle or get a bad call against us, we're just not good enough to win.

They also missed a blatant false start on Broderick Jones. Anyone complaining about the refs tonight is a straight up idiot. All the consequential calls they got correct, or replay assist did when they didn't

Our defense on the other hand....

I will give it to you … you are the eternal optimist. I just don’t see it. We just do tie to have the same issues year after year and game after game and they seemingly never get fixed. We can not stop both the run or the pass on defense. We have to overcommit to stop one and seemingly as a result we fall apart in other areas. On offense we have gotten better but not good enough and in areas where Rodgers can’t overcompensate for in efficiencies like the offensive line it seemingly is the same issue as we have always had. We have to overcompensate on that side of the ball with an extra oline man and a large TE to get the run game going that isn’t a ringing endorsement for the oline coach.

This defense is Tomlins baby. Even if it is all on Austin who chose to keep Austin? It all still falls on Tomlin. His pride and blinded loyalty are destroying this franchise.

The Tomlin lovers still think they deserved their win vs Pats in week 3 when in reality it was the Pats who lost this game with all of their fumble issue

Our style is dependent on turnovers, otherwise we do not beat the better teams.

Advice from our corner? Don't make me laugh, it's too early in the AM for that.

As a fan with this defense, we are in for a beating.

7 games in and we are what we look like - frauds.

1 convincing win v the stains one of the top 5 worst teams in the league.

    Given a win by NE.

Scraped by the Jets, who didn't win a game until yesteday.

Scraped by Minnesota who aren't going anywhere this season either.

The defense is horrible, I don't know how it is possible to much this much talent and money and the field and be unable to stop anyone. We need a complete change on defense, get a proper def co in, get Tomlin out the way and let someone with a real resume do the job.

The o-line can't pass block at all, it doesn't matter how many guy they have up there.

Lone bright spot really in the running game, with Warren and Gainwell proving just how bad Slowee was and how many carries we wasted on him in the last 4 seasons. Nearly a 1,000 carries never made a play, never won a game, never made a difference, longest carry 37 yards...

I can't imagine how bad this team would be without Rodgers and Metcalf, Metclaf being the only legit threat WR on the roster, (I mean who could have guessed that going into another season without a WR2 would be a problem)...

Colts, SD (never calling them LA as long as I live), Detroit, and Rats twice (with Jackson) - oh and the Bills yet to come, 9-8 is looking in serious danger.

We've already lost 3 games with 6 sure losses on the horizon. Even if we win the other 4 games against the Bengals, Browns, Bears and Dolphins that puts us at best 8-9.
