Simpson is working his way uo the draft chart. He may be a first round pick.

He checks a lot of my QB boxes.

    Accurate.
    Throws for many yards.
    High td's, low turnovers
    Has faced good competition.

He is in-experenced as a starter, but there is a lot to like.

Can he be a good qb at throwing 7+ yards passes down the field and in the middle?

I believe Sam Leavitt had a game winning come back against 8th ranked Texas Tech team. Hines Ward sees him every day.

    The Q

I would be okay with the Steelers spending a 2nd or 3 round pick on Leavitt in the 2026 draft. He is just better than average on scripted QB plays, and very good on unscripted Qb plays. An unusual cat with very good ball security.

I think Mateer is going to find his way back into 1st round discussions alongside Simpson, Mendoza, Moore and Sellers.

You are being sarcastic about Sellers, correct?

I live in SC , Sellers has regressed. Whether it’s the new OC or OL, regressed and makes poor decisions.
    But, he is athletic.
Definitely needs to come back for another year. Not sure it would benefit him to come back to SC, might want to think of another school.

I would be content with Simpson
Poor Mendoza if he ends up with the Jets
Raiders definitely rolling the dice with a major project in Sellers
Moore is definitely an unknown, 1 yr doesn’t make you a superstar. Apparently Cleveland never learns

What do you think of Vandys qb?
    Pavia
    He looks so short
But they have him listed at 6 foot
Wonder if that’s with heels on?
    Adding for just you

As of 10-24-25 here are the best QB's if the ALL come out.

    1. Sayin The 20 year old is a natural QB showing great accuracy, smarts, and above average arm. He hit his men on the money on 7+ yard throws allowing for maximum RAC. He is doing it with a poor rushing game by OSU standards.

    2. Simpon. Slowly but surely he is rising up the board. He has a lighting release and very good accuracy. Underrated as a runner, he has a small but very impressive sample size.

    3. Mendoza - Tall, experienced QB has shined. Good release, certified as tough , and accurate. He burns the blitz and knows who to play QB. A bit mechanical in movement .

    4. Moore. A very good deep ball passer he is mechanically sound, but will need a good OL in the pro's to shine in the pro's.

5 Mateer. The best running QB on the list, he is also an accomplished passer. Can make many off script plays. A bit short and has a sidearm release which leads to batted passes. His arm has good range and velocity. And he does not have an all star team around him. A leader.

In my opinion four of the five players wll be first round picks if the come out in 2026.

Pavia is a short college QB who won't translate to the NFL.
