I apologize if this has been thrown around but did anyone else maybe felt that TA was trying to take a page out of the 87 SB (I think it was) where Belichick played a defense designed to slow the Bills K gun that included Thurman Thomas running for over 100 yards to chew up clock management?

I am not sure if the personnel used backs this argument up but just thought with a great passing attack that this would neutralize Flacco.

Results were obviously not indicative of that scheme but may explain why the RB was so effective.

Thoughts? Crazy Talk? lol

The D played the Browns RB so well but maybe they just tried to make the rook QB beat them with stacked fronts. I dont have the all 22 so just theorizing here.

 

Idk. I've moved on to the GB game now.

 

I think they changed the defensive game plan to stop the run after Chase gashed them and every coverage they tried behind it didn't work.

 

the game plan was too suck and let them run all over us. But you can call it whatever you want
