How do you lose track of the best receiver in football? You know where the ball is going to go! He'd already been targeted 20 times! It's unbelievable.

 

Games like this…when our OLB are no shows…I keep wondering why the 3 down linemen didn’t play better…they are expected to rush the passer and stop the run on the way to the qb…run defense is really on their shoulders.

 

It isn't the only reason they lost. I wish it were. There were many other things they failed to do.

Poor, poor defensive effort. The competition improves in weeks ahead. I hope our defense does.

 

In this defense it's the LBs that are supposed to make the plays. They didn't. At one point I seen Wilson in coverage on Chase LOL.

I'm hoping with the extra days off they can fix some things before the Green Bay game.

In this day and age, everybody is tasked with making plays

 

Slay is absolutely washed up, but Trice will be in the medical tent before the 4th quarter

 

470 yards by the Bengals offense is why they lost....They scored on 7 of their final 8 drives....Hard to have a sack or strip sack when the QB throw on average 2.27 seconds.......

 

This defense have way too many old players overall,it was a major concern for me before this season

 

When did you see that we had 2 defenders on Chase, Not like the Bengals who always had 2 defenders around Metcalf and that's why we had the Tight Ends make so many plays. This was on the coaches for poor schemes, you cant leave an older Ramsey covering one of the best receivers on an island like they did.

 

TBH, this is exactly why they traded for Ramsey. They wanted him to cover WR1s on his own. Otherwise, just keep Fitz and have him help out whoever is CB1 on a double.

 

They need to realize Ramsey isn't an All-Pro CB anymore he can't cover WR1 for an entire game.

 

Different players every years but always some major problem on defense

No turnovers and this defense is toast unless this is against offense like the browns

 

Which makes the trade at best a wash.

 

Maybe in his prime Ramsey could cover Chase, but it was so obvious that the aged Ramsey could not and adjustments needed to happen and not leave him on an island. This is what coaches are suppose to do.

 

In the next matchup they need to put Porter Jr on Chase with safety help, then put Ramsey on Higgins.

 

But fans are quick to want to trade Muth even though the team doesn't have a real WR2.

 

Gosh I hope the team is moving on to the Packers or at least their outfit for the game come Sunday night.
