It won’t cuz I think that’s a HC decision. I’ll say it for what the third fourth time in these threads. I don’t understand why, especially with DK, we got rid of George so fast. Even if they were set on getting rid of him why not run the frickin wheels off of him for this season knowing he’s gone at the end? Illogical.

Sometimes the professional people who are there 24/7/365 are too close to see things clearly. Sometimes they are incompetent. Sometimes they simply make mistakes.

Mike Tomlin was with Matt Canada 24/7/365 and still thought Canada could run an NFL offense. Was he right? I could give other examples, but that one should be enough.

 

Pickens isn't exactly reliable, but if he is telling the truth, this is exactly what I've been saying is wrong with the Steelers' approach for years.

 

Even if they kept Pickens for this season, they weren't going to keep him long term.

 

Some fans seem to want it both ways. Tomlin put up with AB's antics for years because he was a top performer. Then it blew up in his face. Many fans ripped Tomlin for not dealing with the situation early on.
Fast forward, Tomlin was faced with similar antics with Pickens. Having learned a hard lesson Tomlin made the choice to jettison Pickens before they had to deal with his contract.

 

I heard the local media say Pickens teammates were tired of his crap and wanted him gone too.

 

So this is on the Steelers? There were red flags coming out of Georgia...now if you are saying that Steelers drafting him anyways than I agree.

Look at the post I just made. It's not his account. Pickens never claimed to be on Twitter, like he does Instagram. Furthermore it was a profile made may of 2025. And the account is now a white guy and they made their account private.

But since PennLive posted it, These cry baby think it means it's all truth.

 

To entirely dismiss a position over one dubious source of verifiable data is just intellectually disingenuous but only when all other reports are not only verifiable but have been verified.

 

That IS his new Twitter account. Talk about a Mash and Burn post.

His old accounts were 1.issue (something like that) and Michael Brewerly. He consolidated back in May. And you being surprised he would use that graphic shows you weren't paying attention when he was here.
