Some of these people can't except that we just get beat, they got to add some conspiracy into it. LoL. It makes me laugh.

He was never going to succeed with the Jets. Sam Darnold failed with the Jets and he's a pretty good QB in the league. It's just a mess over there. He should've taken less money and a shot with us.... Though, I'm glad we have Rodgers so its a moot point regardless.

 

we won because the defense was playing out of its mind with TJ raking up 19 sacks a season, plus Minkah and Cam playing at a high level- thats all gone.

 

The Gimmick is where he belongs and not on the Steelers roster.

 

I just don't think he has the ability to go through the progressions and reads. Give that to him with his physical traits and he's scary, but we haven't seen it.

Some people just don't have the 'it' factor to be QB imo. This was his big chance, and sadly for him he's not capitalizing.

I approve of Arthur Smith. He's the only coach we should keep after this year and maybe the bubble gum ST coach. Scrap the rest.

 

Bubble gum special team coach had a punter who could kick the ball a mile but not consistently and he coached the return guy who watched a live ball go for a touchdown

Teryl Austin is the scapegoat. The real issue is the constant. That said, I suppose one can start with the branches of the Tree as opposed to the full Tree itself.

He can also get out of his own way and make adjustments!! That was shocking because prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Smith really never made any adjustments whatsoever; his early days at Tennessee as the OC no less. While it would stink to see him go, he has earned it.


That said, will he?! Time will tell.

 

Justin Fields is a great athlete who would be an excellent WR. If he wants to stay in the NFL he needs to switch positions. Same thing for Anthony Richardson, great athlete who could help your team but not at QB.

Apparently the guy who works at my bank is Mr Fields.
He not only said he hasn’t given up on Fields, but it was Chicagos Pittsburgh and now the Jets fault.
And called him a great qb. I just laughed.
He is a big Indy fan, hates Daniel Jones even tho he is 6-1, thinks Richardson should be qb and that he was done wrong.
Can’t make this up, true story. Young man is delusional.
He is still a nice young man.

yes. wow...has there ever been an owner throwing a guy under the bus worst than this? I can't see how Fields plays another down for the jets

 

I was. I admit it. I was wrong, but I am an idiot so I am not sure it counts. But, has an owner ever said THIS about a player, a QB? wow....this is news.

 

I can’t honestly see the Jets letting him play another down.
This 5 year experiment should be shut down.
