Which speaks to the discipline of the various teams. While the Steelers are not always disciplined they are smart enough not to say dumb shi@t like what Chase just did. Be interesting to see how things turn around in the next match up when they come to the Burgh

Yep. What comes around goes around. The Steelers once lost a home opener to the Browns 51-0 and then beat them 5 weeks later.

I could absolutely see them crushing the Bungles in the second matchup.

This is what I was thinking. I don't think any offense comes up with a plan that totally shocks the opposing defense. When you play the Bengals of course everyone knows that they are going to try and get the ball to Chase and Higgins, that isn't a big secret. We lost because they executed better and had a QB that could throw with pinpoint precision and hit his receivers in stride. Most of the time in football at any level the defense knows what's coming, the question is are they good enough to stop it.

Depends on your definition of crushing I suppose, but the win against the Browns this year was certainly comfortable. No?

Even with Chase getting his on Thursday, it took a last minute FG. Stay classy Bengals.

the MTDT (MIKE TOMLN DEFENSE TEAM) will never stop - for YEARS, opposing teams players say this

only the dull or those in denial don't understand it.

you don't hear this with other organizations, on a regular basis....

They had their TJ Watt off the field!

If Hendrickson had played, I doubt we lay 31 on the board.

The Raiders have become a de facto scout team.

Based on talent, you can still win games with awful coaching. The Pittsburgh Steelers are exhibit #1 for this, if you have been paying attention at all.
Tomlin is our anchor and not in a good way. Our ship isn't going anywhere with that moron as HC. He's making Tens of milions a year or something stupid to be awful? Yeah us.

True but that was not the question. OP asked for examples of games where we crushed the other team. There were two last year

This is not college football with teams getting way more talent than another team every year. They all draft from the same pool, and they all have the same cap.

People.....why is it the Steelers can't just lose a game like every other team without there being some kind of conspiracy??

Steelers need better coaching from the top down. Steelers haven't been elite since 2018.... and that's because of 2 reasons: No franchise QB and poor coaching. Both of these problems can be solved in the offseason and draft.
