Again, I will ask this question that you , and many are trying to avoid. If everyone knows what we are doing , how are we averaging 10.5 wins a season?? Are teams just being nice to us??
    Is it magic??
    People use your head.
If you know the exact thing that the other team is running , you would never lose to them. Because you would know exactly where to attack, not just some times ,but every time.
Other teams players say this stuff all the time because
    1. They know the gullible will bye it.
    2. To get in the heads of the opponents.
I have heard players before say Andy Reids scheme is very simple , and easy to defend. I heard people say it when he was in Philly, and I've heard players say it since he's been in KC. Hell I heard a guy last week say Defending Again Pat Mahomes isn't difficult. Guess what, I don't believe it , but I'm not gullible.
Again, some of you must never have played any sports, because even in HS, if we knew exactly what the D was running every play, we would never have been Defeated.
I can't actually believe some of You believe this stuff.
I bet Chase is laughing his a$$ of at reading on the internet that some of you believe it. He did exactly what He was hoping for.

Well it's a good thing you're not the coach then.

Exactly, I can't believe people believe this. Chase is laughing his a$$ off at the gullible across the internet. It worked exactly like he wanted it to.

To the Victor goes the spoils of war.

Players can say what they elect to. JaMarr isn't any different. My issue isn't with his statement. My issue is how often that same statement keeps coming up loss after loss.

How do the Steelers average 10.5 wins per season?! If we are accounting for the last three, that answer is simple. No coach since 2007 has more games won within one score than Mike Tomlin. Andy Reid is right behind him. That is how.

Towards the other points made, this is a continual pattern of behavior. This simply isn't about getting in other players heads. If that truly were the case, JaMarr could have been way more aggressive with his answer. He didn't elect to. He simply stated that the Bengals knew what the Steelers were going to do.

From Julian Eldeman to Chase Young. From Chase Young to Zaire Franklin. From Zaire Franklin to now JaMarr Chase. This isn't physiological warfare. This is pattern recognition.

Tomlin may have the NFLs Best Record since 2007 when it comes to one score games. However, he is one of the most predictable Defensive Minds in all of Football. Opponents don't repeat statements like this for attention. They have noticied a pattern. Fans have as well.

Overall, none of this really matters in the end for Tomlin isn't going to change. The only way to change is for both Tomlin to go. Until then?! Statements like the one JaMarr Chase made will continue to appear.

    Why not 47?!

Green Bay is coming to visit. While the Steelers and Packers don't play each other often, to say they also haven't recognized what the team does defensively would be silly.

It's funny when the Steelers beat the Bengals in a shootout last year, I don't recall Chase running his mouth then .

Wasn't Chase Young talking about the Steelers offense?

Whenever the Bengals do win, Chase doesn't say that about any opponent. Only Pittsburgh. So again, pattern recognition is at play here.

    Both cases

However, that is irrelevant here. Offense, Defense, all relative. One constant is the same.

Last Thursday was the first time that I have ever shut the game off at the beginning of the 4th qtr. I simply threw in the towel knowing that it wouldn’t be worth my time watching them lose. My son couldn’t believe it and when I woke in the morning he said you missed a great finish to which I said yea but I’m sure they lost.

MLB should be boycotted until they get a reasonable salary cap that gives all small market teams a chance.

You don't think the Steelers pretty much know what the Ravens are going to do in a game, the difference is when the Steelers win they don't go mouthing off to the media .

What You wrote is in argument with itself.
Have You ever played sports. Name Me one sport if I knew exactly what you were running, I couldn't beat you every time as a coach. For the millionth time If the Bengals know exactly what we are doing, they all watch film, and then everyone knows, and we would not win any games.
Why is this so difficult for You people to understand. LoL

Everyone know tendencies of a team they play twice every year, that's why division games are so hard, but they don't know exactly what the plays are.

Before last season when the Steelers pretty much owned Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, what purpose would it serve for Steelers players on defense to start yapping to the media about they knew what the Ravens were going to do.

Players say this about opponents all the time. The only difference is You only pay attention to what they say here, you don't seek everything said every week for the other 31 teams. I said that I have heard this about Andy Reids offense more than once. How did I hear it, because my roommate was a Eagles fan back then, but I'm not gullible and I didn't believed it. Like I said a player from Detroit said some of the same things last week close to that affect, but nobody believes it.
The real difference is some of You actually want to believe it. That's how conspiracy work. The gullible find something they want to believe, and then it only takes a couple of sparks.
Like the whole MiKe Tomlin calls all the D plays, and yet Mike's Mouth is not moving, and Austin is actually on screen calling the plays. LoL, but some people wanted to believe it. That's how these things grow. LoL

Threads here would be or should be from all the predictability

Steelers are 0-56 in the last 56 games played against teams who knew the predictability OBVIOUSLY

Agree. Was a Pirates fan from late 70's until the mid 90's when Bonds and Bonilla left for bigger paychecks. Pirates have been a glorified minor league team since.

I don't pay attention to MLB anymore. I've heard it's better now with pitch clock and bigger bases, but you're right... until there's a salary cap, it's pretty much the same old crap with mostly large market teams dominating like Red Sox, Yankees and Dodgers.

My daughter is a rabid fan like I was at her age. She watches to the very final excruciatingly painful moment. I was surprised as well it was as close as it was but we were right in the end. Not the kind of right that you like to be right about though :roflmao:

Remember that Super Bowl between the Raiders and Buccaneers after the game players knew all of the Raiders plays, probably why they dominated and got a bunch of turnovers. Fans want to think this is just about the Steelers .
