He will need that rabbit's foot.
The Packers can play both sides of the ball very well. If they play down to us, yes it could be an upset. They did play down to the Cards and almost blew it.
The major concern will be Mica Parsons. We do not want Rogers getting beat up.

I'd like to see a lot of no-huddle (that slows down a pass rush)
    Some solid ground game play.
Quick passing attack and mix in some shots.
On Defense, you can pressure Love but he's still very mobile and very good. DB's will have to cover till the whistle.
We gotta stop the ground game by GB.

It should be simple, but it seems so hard for Tomlin lovbers to understand for some reason.

And it's funny, he refuses to include the 2005 season because Cowher was capable of winning on the road!

Next I suppose you're going to defend Ben's 4 interceptions against the Browns and blame the loss on the defense .

Not easy to make 4 super bowl in a row...How many teams have done that in NFL history?

Funny you said this because you blame Ben for the L against the jaguars in 2017 even if the steelers had 42 points(2 turnovers) against the number 1 defense

Yes... to this day, that was the worst post season loss in Steelers history. Losing to Browns in 2020 and Tebow in 2011 post seasons pale in comparison.

I won't dispute that. Steelers had more talent and better overall team than Chargers. Chargers had 2 really good players that year.... Seau and Means. The rest were just average dudes. No excuse for that loss at home. Typical "marty ball" from Cowher.... playing way too conservative.

Ben isn't entirely to blame but he did gift them 14 points.

Good article. What is worse than a lack of adjustments is when you realize you just aren't good against competent QB's no matter what scheme you try.. I remember Rich Gannon throwing for 403 yards on 64 pass-attempts as Cowher stood watching and nothing he could do. The Cinci game reminded me of that one.

Packers were down into the 4th qtr against a mediocre AZ team. GB is beatable but any kind of sloppy play by the Steelers and they will make them pay.

    Things could have been way worse. Talk about epic collapses on defense;

And the Cardinals were playing with their backup QB and had a chance to win the game at the end.

In a more concise way, the coaches are good but the players suck? My response is, get a good DC and watch things improve drastically.

The Browns scored 48 points, hell yes I blame it on the defense. The Steelers scored 37 points that should be plenty enough to win unless you have a putrid defense.

The Browns got a gift of 7 points on the first play of the game, how are you going to blame the defense when the team lost the turnover battle 5-0.

Ok so they "only" gave up 41 points. The defense wasn't good enough to force any turnovers and every time the offense turned it over the defense rolled over and allowed a touchdown. They couldn't force a punt or even hold the Browns to a FG. Any time your offense puts up 37 points that should be plenty of points to win.

How many teams win a playoff game losing the turnover battle 5-0? I never said the defense was great but maybe your franchise QB shouldn't throw 4 interceptions.

He threw 4 picks but more than made up for it with 4 TD's, over 500 yards passing, an NFL record 48 completions and put 37 points on the board. If the defense wouldn't have completely collapsed the Steelers would have won.

    Ok this is just dumb

You obviously know nothing about the defense the Steelers of the 70’s ran

    Zero

We agree to disagree, but how many of those points and yards came after the game was pretty much over.

The Jaguars beat the chargers in the 2022 playoffs despite losing the turnovers battle 5-0....Lawrence had also 4 TD and 4 INT in that game
