Have to laugh. Total garbage losing to the Bungals. No excuse. And they were missing a bunch of players. Ridiculous.

It's looking like a real probability that Flacco will be the 2026 starting Steelers' quarterback for yet another Tomlin Super Bowl run.

I know its just one game, but losing to Flacco and the bungles takes the air out of any playoff aspirations.

Rivalry game on a short week in their house? We've always had problems with Flacco. Good thing we only lost by 2. At least my Dodgers won!

if they can’t sack the qb, they aren’t able to do much else.

FWIW, Pens tied it up, 2-2. 3rd period coming up.

I agree, I was clamoring man up across the line and blitz Flacco on most of the last drive. Instead, Chase has free releases, along with their pre snap movements confusing the **** out of our coaches and our Menza D, he ended up with a wide open field on those crossing patterns... Brilliant stuff, the two people that could beat you this game, Flacco and Chase, and you made their jobs pretty easy

Metcalf didn't mistime his jump. He thought he had possession, and looked up field, taking his eyes off the ball, before having the ball taken from him.

It's totally different if the offense also struggles. But to lose that game when the offense scored 31? It's beyond inexcusable. I feel pretty confident that will cost the Steelers big time down the stretch.

That said, I'm sure they'll find a way to piss me off by winning against the Packers next week.

You literally don't know that for sure. Who's to say Pickens wouldn't have already checked out by then and/or gone on a tantrum because he didn't get passed to 90% of the time?

Look what he is doing in Dallas. What I know is that he doesn't lose 50-50 balls often the way Metcalf did tonight.

it looked like DK caught it and got stripped as he was falling to the ground, honestly…it was a flukey play…9/10 times the db falls out of bounds before he gets possession.

well… we could have been close to wrapping up this division with a comfortable lead, but now it will take awhile longer…

we let the rest of the division right back in it.

Joe Flacco completed 28 of 37 passes for 336 yards & 3 TDs from a clean pocket in a TNF win over the Steelers.

This was Flacco's most passing yards from a clean pocket since Week 4, 2018 (also vs. PIT), and lowest pressure rate faced this season (24.5%). Amazon Web Services

Nah, we still have playoff aspirations.... but we just hate making it easy on ourselves. The only concerning thing to me is that our defense is clearly exposed. If we don't cause 3+ turnovers, we just get dog walked. The good thing is that it at least looks like our offense should be able to keep us in a ton of games. They're clearly turning the corner as a unit. The defense just needs to wake up.

Tonight just underlined my notion that DB's are largely irrelevant in todays NFL, if you can't affect the QB, it's all over, it's just 4,5,6 guys chasing shadows at a massive disadvantage unable to affect outcomes. If the other team have it together in the passing game, then DB's are pretty much taken off the field.

I don't think in any other area of the field are unit so disadvantaged from the snap, and at such a horrendous cost when it goes wrong.

No front 7, no pass rush, no defense.

Breaking news: J. Chase just got caught another ball on a slant as the Steelers boarded the bus.

Burrow probably holds onto the ball longer than Flacco.
