Penn State showed how it's done (5-6 years too late, but they did it)

We have a few bums that also need fired here.

    Do it.

I'll go out on a limb and say this is not a +$160 MILLION Defense

Steelers could lose all six of those games after this embarrassment. We could soon be staring at 4-8.

I honestly thought the defense at the end of last year was the worst I’d ever seen the Steelers play. I was wrong. They were barely a speed bump out there tonight.

Can’t scheme anything, can’t beat the man in front of them, can’t cover, and can’t tackle. Nor exactly a recipe for success.

I was being generous with the two wins. My guess is they don't win any....and Tomlin will still have a job.

    Does Pickens play defense now?

Ramsey was horrible tonight. He made one good, but got torched the rest of the time.

The pass rush was a joke. They weren't all quick throws. They gave Flacco time all game long. Watt was invisible except for that one shared sack with Heyward.

They let a terrible offensive line push them around. Metcalf also came up small tonight. The second interception was his fault, and he was in a great position for that Hail Mary, but he mistimed his jump. Pickens makes that play.

Not gonna disagree - they were pathetic most of the way tonight.

But I just wanna know - who's bright idea was it to play prevent when all the Bengals needed to do was get in FG range to win it? Was someone not watching scoreboard or...

The defense should have done better--hope they can learn from this. Those two interceptions by Rodgers didn't help either.

I'm not convinced he (Ramsey) isn't playing injured; he looked really slow tonight.

I'm just glad we lost a freebie. Always fun when one of our units decides not to come prepared against a horrendous opponent.

It was Tomlin’s hapless defense that made him look like Brady in his prime. This game illustrates why Tomlin will never get to any championship game. His defense is vanilla. There are no adjustments. If TJ isn’t getting pass rush, the defense is one of the worst.

Until Tomlin hands the defensive reins to an actual defensive coordinator and they hire an actual offensive line coach, wildcard losses are the ceiling for the Steelers.

Not really they had some runs, but they should have been called back as holds. The O-line didn't have to work hard at all because they were not held to the same standard.

All the Defense had to do was their job.

Not one person did anything positive.

This is typical of these losses. There are many culprits. The defense was horrible. The pass rushers disappeared. Queen got caught out of position multiple times, including the Bengals' last touchdown. Watt was invisible most of the night. So were Harmon, Herbig, and Wilson. Ramsey got abused all night, including the game-winning throw to Higgins.

That said, the offense could have done even more. Rodgers forced two interceptions, though the second one was Metcalf's fault. Pickens catches the ball that turned into an interception because Metcalf couldn't catch it cleanly. He catches that Hail Mary, too, if he's in the same position Metcalf was in.

Yeah, the defense was horrible, but the offense could have overcome it and trading away Pickens is the main reason they didn't.

If they do, and Tomlin still has a job, I’ll never watch a Steelers game again.
