only thing looks like you got wrong is that your post inferred that the offense couldn't move the ball but the defense did its part. Where it turns out we lost the opposite way…that i think no one could predict…

 

Had trap game written all over it but I’m surprised at how they lost it, scoring 31 points. The defence let the team down.

They have just cracked the door open for the Ravens who will firmly believe that they can come out of their bye and start running the table.

Quite obviously,this defensive team can’t adjust to a changing offense. Tomlin alluded to it in his presser. They had replanned to play the other QB and had no answers to what the Bengals were doing with blocking schemes and Flacco.

it didn’t help that the O-line for the Bengals (as so frequently in these so-called trap games) played an absolute gem of a game with just 1 penalty called against them. This is something I’ve noticed a lot when they lose these games against “inferior” teams. All of a sudden they’re all-pros at every position and penalty free.

I haven't been happy since 2017... when we lost to Jaguars in playoffs. Tomlin should have been fired then. I don't care if you listen or not. I've been right for years now... and nothing is gonna change until heads roll from the top down.

 

I was immediately worried about this game the day Flacco was traded to the Bengals. It was only a year ago when he tore us apart as a Colt and he did it again last night. With Flacco the Bengals are a legitimate contender for the AFC North title, their only a game and a half behind us and Burrow could be back the last 4 games.

 

Well.... the defense definitely laid an egg last night and reverted back to it's horrible play against Jets, Seahawks and Patriots. And we are just now getting into the challenging part of the schedule with Packers, Colts and Chargers.

I feel bad for Rodgers. It was a mistake for him to believe Steelers had any chance of post season success with Tomlin. This defense is not playoff caliber by any stretch.
