I haven't been following him, but he isn't really putting up big numbers this year?

There's a potential trade in the pipeline.
I would classify this as 'a call has been made and there are some interests' only......
Please bear in mind that a lot of those happen... but maybe this one pans out.

I mostly agree. I still think we are going to keep as much of our Day 1 and Day 2 capital as we can. That likely makes targets like Olave and Wilson unattainable.

Agree with those who say Meyers is the most realistic option. He's in the final year of his contract so likely won't cost too much in draft capital, and his contract is reasonable - $10.5M salary this year which would be no more than $7M remaining depending on when acquired.

For a short-term rental, I don't like the idea of an Olave or Waddle with their risky injury history and Wilson hurt himself this week and will be out a couple of weeks, and who wants to risk that he's completely healthy when he returns?

I think that the mediocre performances of the QB class combined with the statement by Rodgers that he might consider coming back next year throws the 2026 QB question up in the air.

I have seen a lot of trade rumors lately. Some of the YouTube channels seem to have a new trade rumor every day. Are there any out there that anyone is putting stock in?

The only one I have seen in recent stuff that seems realistic is George Odum. Safety and Special Teams guy. Was on the 49ers for 3 years, dropped due to elbow surgery. Had 4 years with the Colts before the 49ers. Recovered now and is a free agent. He supposedly just had a visit to the Steelers. That is a hire that makes sense with the Killebrew injury and should not be expensive.

I saw another one that was in the rumor category of possible talks with the Saints to get Rashid Shaheed at WR. Rumor was that a 2026 4th round and a 2027 5th round pick were on the table for him. Seems like a reasonable trade offer for him, but I am skeptical that the Saints would let him go unless they are about to go into fire sale mode and write this season off. He is on a 1 year contract with the Saints for 5.2 million.

I’m not picking on you Robert but they are not “trade rumors”

They are made up bull**** or clickbait

Oh, I absolutely agree with you.

I don't watch most of them and quit watching a few of the youtubers that were going overboard with it. But the Odum one makes sense and if he really did visit, I could see that happening. But that would be a new hire since he is a free agent and not a trade. I have seen a lot of trades that would be great for us and I am sure Khan is looking, but it has to make sense for the losing team as well. Do the Saints really give up WR2 for a few future picks? I don't think so. And pretty much all of the rumors fall into that category. They don't make sense for the team giving up the player.......other than the Browns with Flacco, teams don't normally shoot themselves in the foot that badly with a trade.

This one might make a bit of sense given the fact Killebrew is out. We don't know how long but I suspect it will be a significant amount of time.

There are a lot of random Youtubers out that just make up stuff for views.

Just a thought. Why not make a trade for Breece Hall? If the Jets are indeed in sell mode. Rodgers and Hall reportedly have a great relationship as well. I think he would upgrade the offense.

The need at receiver is far greater. Warren could use a partner, but I think they are going to stick with Gainwell there, at least until Johnson is ready for a larger role.

This team has bigger needs than to give up good picks for a RB right now.

BREAKING: The Titans have granted WR Tyler Lockett’s request to be released and he’ll be eligible to sign with a new team after 4 pm ET Wednesday

Lockett, 33, signed a 1-year/$4M deal with Tennessee in April.

If we trade for a WR (I don't think we will), I think it has to be a legit WR2 (we have lots of WR3s already).

And I wouldn't want to give up more than a 3rd.

And I'd prefer to have someone that has more term than just the remainder of this season.

Which is why I don't think it will happen.

Maybe we bring in another WR3/4 for a 6th or something.
