My thoughts on reg season wk 6

    Carney did a good job. Jones is still struggling against inside moves. And teams watch these tapes knowing that is the easiest path to the QB against the LT. Jones also got help (not always good help either). Rodgers was smart to get rid of the ball quick.

    It is true that Jones struggled. I don't think anyone would say he played flawless. That said, to say that was the best he played thus far in his Steelers Career is also true.


    BroJo is improving.... slowly..

    It's the rate of improvement that is bothersome. It took Moore all of four years to become... merely average. That's just too long in the NFL.

    The CBA specifies that the split in unaccounted prorations, when applicable (i.e., post-June 1st transaction), is to be that the current year's proration remains in place, with all remaining amounts past the current year applied to the following year's accounting. This goes for releases, retirements, and trades.
