I've drank fermented milk also, but I believe this was from a goat. It's a taste I would need getting used to.

The Bengals with their receivers are a lot better with Flacco than with Browning. All he has to do is get his passes close to Chase and Higgins.

But their defense is bad, bad.

When we were at the Philadelphia airport recently for our trip to Italy, we were waiting for our flight and this young girl goes to my son "Hey, what state is Philadelphia in?"

I met a guy in Ontario years ago who told me he was about 15 when he figured out Ontario wasn’t a state

    Ah Geez, that's sad.
I could be wrong, but many younger people seem to not learn anything, they feel no need to, because information is at the touch of their fingers, and JMO, I find that sad.

That's what it seems like these days. I had to do a double take and ask if she really said that.

Flacco was a big improvement over Browning but their Oline is still pure garbage. Also Hendrickson is now listed as day to day and that is not good for them on a short week. I just hope that this won’t be the annual Tomlin trap game. It would be easy for the Steelers to think all they have to do is show up and it’s a win.

Yep! Information IS at the tip of their fingers. Sadly, their fingers are too busy playing video games or making tik tok videos!

"The Bengals offense took four drives to warm up with new quarterback Joe Flacco but did begin to show why there’s belief he could breathe life into the flailing attack. They managed just one first down in the first four drives, but then started to unlock chemistry with 18 first downs for 18 points on the next four drives that all went into Green Bay territory. Flacco led three scoring drives, got the ball out fast, didn’t turn it over and started finding Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase down the field. There’s positive momentum the team can carry into Thursday’s game against the Steelers, but the fact it took so long in his first game to find that rhythm cost them Sunday. — Dehner"

And yet people will laugh at this. A Qb doesn't forget how to play, the body slowly let's them down, and to compare Browns weapons to the Bengals is laughable. The Packers were lucky to leave this game with a win, and that was against a Qb that just got there a few days before.

The whole Flacco trade is strange because even if he is no longer starting, why wouldn't they want him around to help mentor two rookies? His contract is not much and they got almost nothing in return. I believe he has a solid rep as a good guy and team player. I can only think that maybe they asked him and he told the team that if he's not playing then see if there is a team who will start him.

If I remember correctly, Flacco has made it clear that he has no interest in serving as a mentor for anyone.

Yes but you are drinking cottage cheese that has been swished around and gurgled in some one else's mouth before putting in the glass

Pretty funny. I'm going to laugh hard when it does. We can have the over 40 committe and re-sign Rogers.

Regarding the trade, I get why the Browns did it to get their young players on the field. Of course the Browns have basically been a franchise where young QBs fail to launch. They should have kept Flacco for that reason alone.

They have three young QBs but no one to look up to or mentor them.

Oh well it's the same old Brownies. Should have kept Mayfield.

Yep. And guess where Flacco likes to throw the ball? Middle of the field (see post elsewhere) where the Steelers seem to be a very giving team.

Much more giving if they don't have Elliott, too.

It reminds me of the episode of Firefly when they go to the 'mudders' planet where Jayne is a hero. They were drinking an alcoholic beverage there called 'mudders milk'. Initially they all thought it was nasty. But as the night wore on they didn't mind so much.
