Tomlin was very smart to manage the snaps of many players like Watt or Warren since the steelers have a game on thursday and the steelers were never really close to lose vs Cleveland

It was nice that we were pretty comfortable all game so we could do with without much worry.

This must have been similar to what other teams felt when we had Mason/Duck/Mitch/Kenny. It doesn't really matter that their D is good. Because their offense is inept. Just kick a few FGs and we probably have enough to win.

I've been very hard on Jones / the OL. But the last two games have been pretty good.

I know Dillon Gabriel was not happy with a reunion with Nick Herbig.
Gabriel took a beating the entire game. I know he stayed in the ice batch all night.

    Thoughts on the game.
    - The turf was terrible, obviously. Reminded me of RFK.
    - Rogers is only 75% of the QB he was, but it is very obvious how a good QB functions and makes the team better. I hated that he didn't get enough on the under thrown TD to Metcalf, but he came right back to him for a big one. When Rogers sees that play, it's game over when he does that funky wind up and throw... it's going to be a TD.
    - Glad Warren is back.
    - Imagine what could be if the Steelers could find that 2nd WR. I know at some point, if it hasn't already, Pickens will be brought up again. It's water under the bridge and his good game just underscores our GM's decisions but it is what it is, he was also a headache.
    - Muth made a showing but his blocking skills are not up to par.
    - Washington is a very big man... I can feel DB's pain when they see they have to tackle him. He does need to be more careful about securing the ball.
    - A Roman Wilson showing.
    - I think it was 3 picks dropped by our secondary. Sometimes that happens.
    - 3 TE sets were used a few times, it's a great look.
    - Love Rogers toss to Connor Heyward.
    - The Stripes are going to have to go through a lot of play call reviews again, some of those were very questionable. Same around the league. I don't like to ever have to depend on them.

The NFL is a very lucrative business. You would think that they would be able to sod the field multiple times if needed. They're also getting money from all of those games that are played in their stadium besides the NFL.

Trophy is nice. You get your name in the books. You get a parade. And in a few years nobody cares other than die hard fans. The kind of money he got is generational wealth. His kids, their kids, and probably longer out if he's good with his money will all be living comfortable lives. This is a business and I won't ever fault an NFL player for getting all the money they can. They have a limited lifespan in the game and run the risk of serious injury.

As a fan, it would be nice if they all just took a smaller contract that allowed the team to get more quality players because I want championships. But I recognize that it is a business even if the players love the game and they still have to put food on the table.

A win Thursday night and you can start truly believing this Division is over assuming we don’t have massive injuries including AR. I know Lamar is coming back but 1-5 is too big a gap for the Ravens to overcome it would be unprecedented.

Bengals Oline is terrible. I expect another 6 sacks and a couple turnovers.

Roman Wilson had 1 catch for 12 yards. Unless by a sighting you mean he was alive and breathing.

You know how road Thursday games go. Would be a pleasant surprise to actually win all these cupcake games for once though.

Watching the replay, I was actually surprised that he didn't suffer an ankle injury. It looked like his plant foot rolled over onto its side pretty good. He probably has an ankle like mine. Sprained it so many times that everything inside of it is stretched out and it can roll over pretty hard. It hurts like a mother at first but quickly feels better.

The browns supposedly have a really good defense. So the only two options are that they had an off day, or the Steelers offense managed to shut the defense down. By the game stats, I'm going to go with our offense shutting the browns defense down.

I don't think he was when Calvin Austin curled right in the end zone to block out Muth's pass.....lol

The Ravens do have what should be an easy remaining schedule. It would not be impossible for them to win the vast majority of what they have remaining. Getting Lamar back will certainly help them to do that. But they got to fix that defense too. If they can manage to do that, they will still be tough.

They have no margin of error and games like against the bears, vikings, packers, steelers twice are not a guarenteed win,not with their defense. They need to finish the season at 9-2 to be in a good position to just to make the playoffs

    But usually much later

The high school teams also play on it late November but obviously that hasn’t happened yet

And neither Pitt nor Steelers practice there

I think it’s just poor maintenance

You can’t play on it for two weeks after sodding it

Hard to get that into the schedule

So nice to see them blitzing like that, we have been screaming for the DC to do these for a couple of years now. Ramsey is good at it.

No reason for the field to be that bad at this time of the year. Also they have an extra week to work on it with the Ireland game.

Huge reason why was because of their offense who was a turnovers machine in the first 4 games with Flacco. The steelers move the ball really well yesterday and scoring 23 points despite 0 turnover by our defense is very good. The steelers offense had also only 1 punt before garbage time

Defense was good yesterday but it would of been nice to not drop 3 interceptions with our DB's. I guess that's why they are DB's and not receivers.

At least they choose the right game to drop those interceptions!

Normaly the steelers are great in turnovers on defense,so this is not a concern for me!
