BS as in it is trying to use those three games to paint the losses as Fields fault.

Like Thor said, more smoke than fire.

He does not need to be 'spoon fed' or taught - God knows no young QB can be developed with this coaching staff

Heh heh. Mike Tomlin's method of 'spoon feeding' a Rookie QB is when the poor kid is in traction on a hospital bed, because the offensive line still doesn't block well (despite investing draft picks).

I didn't say you made anything up. I said those three games are irrelevant to the point you made about "all you need to know" about Fields.

Fields performed well in all three - you even complimented his play against the Steelers as a Jet - so using them to support that he'll never be a good QB makes no sense.

You know Blast doesn't need you to stick up for him, he's an adult. Nothing I said was false, You know this, I know this, Blast knows this, and the guy who put the stat together on ESPN that I heard it from knows this.
I don't know what the problem is. If I was telling lies, I'd get it, but nothing I said is false.

    Dude. Settle.

I post to things I happen across. But it's funny that you accuse others of being 'obsessed' with being right, when you're so fixated on this. It has nothing to do with whether your overall point is valid or not.

Like you, I tend to think Fields isn't going to become a quality NFL QB. But - ironically, in opposition to someone like yourself that has been defending the developmental abilities of this coaching staff recently - I was for re-signing Fields given the market, just to see if anything could be worked out. I wasn't looking forward to it - watching Fields dropping back on tape last year was painful for me - but there was a chance.

That being said, I'm fine rooting for this crew.

See what I mean. I actually got to the... me calling people obsessed, and stopped. You proved my point. He called me obsessed, and I replied back to him in mimicking what he said, but are You going to say anything publicly to him, NO, but you will me, and yet he was the 1st to instigate. You do this anytime someone argues with him, don't believe me.....go look at all the Najee post with him , and @Formerscribe@Formerscribe , or @steelersrule6@steelersrule6 . You instantly jump to his defense. He's a big boy, if He wants to argue with people, then he can get what he gives, without you jumping in. Otherwise I'm cool .
I like You, and Blast, but if You quote me , and then say something to me, I will respond. I don't have to agree with people on every topic to like them, never have, and never will

Let's steer this back onto the rails. I've discussed/debated with a lot of people over a lot of topics on here - that's the point of a message board. I have zero problems with someone disagreeing with me, or anybody else for that matter. For you to hone in on threads involving you, Blast, 6, and Scribe - four of the top six posters on this site - is a little silly. It's hard not to comment on a topic you guys don't also weigh in on.

Furthermore, while I've had some big disagreements with Scribe, I've also agreed with his POV on other topics and have tagged/voiced it accordingly. Same with you, same with 6.

So If I add something to a discussion it's not about attacking/defending anybody. I'm adding to points I happen to agree/disagree with.

I can just imagine the Jets board after this Broncos game....... Fields aired it out for a grand total of 45 yds

I watched the Jets game. I know any player can have a bad day but he was lost out there.

My app says -10 in one spot and 9/17 for 45 yards in another spot. I don't think that he actually had negative 10 yards total. But still, pretty bad. He was also sacked 9 times. He basically handed the ball off or held onto it until he was tackled most of the game.

A sack takes away from yards passed total.....I think it does?

If any of you are too young to experience what screwed up Kordell Stewart's head you can have a rare treat of seeing it play out for Fields and the Jets. This guy had a 200 yard rushing game as a QB in Chicago. Now they got him so screwed up with being a pocket passer he can't make a 3 yard scramble for a first down.

No, an NFL sack does not take away from a quarterback's rushing yards, but a sack in college football does. In the NFL, the yards lost from a sack are subtracted from the team's total passing yards, not the quarterback's individual passing or rushing stats. However, in college (NCAA) football, sacks are considered negative rushing plays and are counted against the quarterback's rushing yards.

Funny that you say that. I was watching that game today and it kind of felt like he was trying really hard to be a passing QB at the expense of his running game. And when he went back to pass, he seemed to do his first look and that was about it. He would wait for that guy to get open or be running around for his life.

The Jets OC must be worse than Canada. Arthur Smith got plenty of good throws/completions out of Fields in his 6 games last year. Jets have better weapons at RB and WR than Steelers had last year. Crazy.

Jackson struggled with that until the coaches cracked the code. Not sure if Aaron Glenn and his underlings can do that. So far Glenn just looks like a Temu version of Dan Campbell

Thank you. Same applies for high school football (like college football)?
