Browns vs Steelers official gameday thread

can't wait for this one. i still think the browns are our biggest rival and i love giving them a beatdown. too many cinci and cleveland fans near me. tons of steelers fans though. i hope we don't come out flat and we give da stinkin browns the beatdown they deserve. that usually shuts these fools down for a few weeks.

Browns fan here, haven’t posted in quite awhile. Browns have the better defense, Steelers have the better offense. I’ll bet the Yinzers by 3. Hopefully the Browns make it competitive. Wife and I plan on traveling over there in a couple weeks. IKEA, Primanti’s, you know the drill. Good luck friends.

I think the spread for Steelers is -5.5 points.

 

Been an amazing last few days in the sports for me. Steelers winning today would be the cherry on the top.

This gonna be a great day 1st, Steelers and Browns on TV .Then going to Durant to see Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin in concert again....GOD IS GREAT!!

 

This game has all the makings of Gabriel getting "hurt" early.. And the Browns playing Sanders....Dont be surprised if this happens.. lol

 

Can't wait for this. Always get a buzz from the first divisional match up! Much better than when all 6 of ours were in the last 8 games the other season.

 

This is the first game this season where we get to see if things are really different IMO. Previous years, we always play down to our opponents and we come back from bye weeks looking like they all took a 2 week vacation to Hawaii or something. This year, we have an opponent that we should trounce and it is after a bye. If we do not look very good against the Browns, I am going to see it as more of the same, even if we win. We have to look like we have our collective crap together.

 

If Sanders plays, I really hope that our defense has an all you can eat feast so that we can finally stop hearing about him.

Stressed like everyone but glad that we all have a football game to watch. 4 solid hours of screaming, flailing, and swearing..

 

Steelers need to take care of business and not let this hapless team steal a win.

 

I definitely dont anticipate a trouncing. But I do expect the Steelers to win. There really are no excuses. The Browns are a struggling team with a mid round rookie QB making his 2nd career start. A lot can be learned about the 2025 Steelers today. If they come out and play sound fundamental football and win a close game, that tells me the Steelers may have something this year. If they come out flat and get lit up by a rookie QB, that tells me we are all in for more of the same.

 

Watching the Jets, I see nothing from Fields that says the Steelers made a mistake in not retaining him.

 

This game isn’t going to be a cakewalk. That defense is legit.hopefully we can shutdown their running game

yep Eagles lost 2 straight, Phillies got waxed (now all the fans need to cancel their hotel rooms) and PSU was exposed for the frauds they were by losing 3 straight. I have not heard anything from the folks who were saying a lot in September, LOL
