Pickens over DK this week.

AJ Brown pouts after every win if he wasn't getting touches.

Did Pickens pout after the Ravens game where he wasn't targeted? Not sure but the prior game he had like 200 yards and 2 TD's so I think he was fine with it.

When you have a star WR you have to feed them and you also have to be okay with them pouting sometimes when they aren't targeted.

I have no problem with a player who pouts once in awhile as long as it doesn't affect anything else. I was good with Diontae Johnson until I saw him walking around during a play at his feet that got scooped up by the D. With Pickens it was a few times when we saw other players having to baby him on the sidelines. Especially his college teammate Broderick Jones. Jones has enough to worry about in his own game without having to take time out to massage a diva.

FWIW, going back a few years I never had any problems with the "me first" shows from Chad Johnson and Terrel Owens - as long as it didn't interfere with the big picture of playing to win a title.

 

It all depends on if they are a net positive to the team

Until the end AB was a big time positive

GP and DJ were both net negative and therefore had to go

That isn’t how the NFL works. Players who have star power have a ton of leverage when it comes to game planning.

I think most Steeler Fans would be talking Super Bowl right now, if George Pickens was still on this team.

 

I really wanted to see what it would look like to have Rogers throwing to GP and Dk, but as soon as we picked up DK, I knew it wasn't happening, especially after Rogers worked out with DK and not GP. Too good to be true.

 

Didn't Lamb play the first few games? So we've already seen.

 

Yes Lamb played in part of two games, and had 16 catches and over 220 yards, and in those same games Picken only had 8 catches, and only 98 yards. So yes that's my point. Had that continued, we would see the real Pickens.

 

If Pickens does well good for him

This, and I can't remember a single person saying he had no talent, just the opposite, it was his attitude , and team play that was in question. We shall see how his attitude is when Lamb gets back in Dallas. Pickens didn't even have a hundred yards in two game combined when Lamb was playing.

I care less about his pouting and antics. What I mostly hated to see and cared about was his inability to understand he need to do other things like blocking and not giving up on plays. He seems to think his only job was to catch the ball. The selfishness and self centeredness will continue. Dallas will have their hands full checking Georges ego. He may change but I rather doubt it. He is ultra competitive and shows signs of selfishness ( ego)
