Injury Updates

The dude can't possibly be that dumb... he was drafted which implies a lot of people had analyzed something about him - something about his dumbness would have come up. Be shocking if he is that dumb.

 

LoL. Problem is it doesn't always transfer from the paper to the field.
It's like most Qbs, you can draw on a chalk board a play, and they can tell you where you need to go by the coverage they see, but when 5 guys are trying to get you, and you only have about 3 seconds to decide if that's the right decision, and the lights are on, and it really, happening,.that all goes out the window for many.

maybe it is as simple as personnel. only 2 WR's have 25 of the 27 catches. wilson then has 1 and skowronek has 1. that's it. the rest of the passing is to RB's and TE's.

 

Maybe that was Belichick's problem at the end. He was known for only drafting smart players.

 

This could be the correct answer.

 

With Austin likely out we will probably see more snaps for Skowronek, was it in the Vikings game when Skowronek was open in the endzone and Rodgers threw a bad pass.

 

It probably has more to do with Wilson and Austin have the same role in the offense, and them playing so many 2-3 TE sets.

 

JPJ and Warren full practice, Highsmith limited

 

I am inclined to think this is truer then RW not understanding audibles and not being able to comprehend plays. Rodgers was high on him at first so that tells me this is related to how personnel are being used. I guess we will see. If we don't see him play this coming Sunday there is something wrong other then personnel. PF is not getting alot of looks either which is weird given AS likes his TEs.

 

Even when Austin got hurt last game Roman didn’t see the field. Packages may have something to do with it but not the full story.

 

Not practicing again today was Trice and Howard. Only 1 real practice next week, so I am guessing Howard and Smith will stay on the IR for 2 more Weeks.

Trice has always looked good in the offseason practicing, but there is a reason why he fell to the 7th round.
