Ok, I'm on the next to last episode of Dark Matter. It started out good, and then it got better, and then it got even better. I'm really liking this show.

I'm not sure how this season will end, but depending on how it wraps up (or not), I'd be super excited for a season 2.

I think so. I never saw the first one, but have been seeing ads for a sequel.

Low Down is a pretty good series so far. It makes me laugh.
Also I'm trying to finish all the Dexter stuff, and Star Trek:Enterprise right now, and then True Detective is next on my list.

Netflix show about Ed Gein is pretty cool. It is 8 parts I think and it shows a young Hitchcock and a young Anthony Perkins making Psycho based on Ed. Gein's mother was a piece of sh!t!!

My wife's claim to fame I still have to hear about 50 years later: She saw Anthony Perkins balls. A play he was in had him naked.

The show is not very good and has drug out to long. But the Rainmaker is worth watching just for Brusier. The TV version of the book and movie is played by Lana Parrilla.

She just has a presence about her. Last 2 episodes upcoming on the USA channel.

The wife and I just finished season 3 of "Monster" on Netflix. Each season is about a notorious killer. Jeffrey Dahmer was season 1.

This season is Ed Gein. It was f r e a k y. Not just the subject material - which if you know anything about him is freaky enough. But also the style of the story, interspersing it with real life events and pop culture that were either totally, or at least partially inspired by him. My wife said she really enjoyed the season, but she's DONE with dark material for a while (the Dahmer season didn't affect her like that). It was a bit too heavy for her. And it isn't even Halloween yet! I guess I'll have to watch anything scary without her.

She said that despite how grotesque and insane the story and visuals were, it was that they were successful in making you kind of feel sorry for Ed that really bothered her. He's a literal monster... but not evil (or at least not typical evil). He was a loon of the highest caliber though.

Charlie Hunnam played Ed Gein and even after watching him in every single episode, I still can't believe it was him. He disappeared into the role. No Jax Teller this time.

My only nitpick is that the 2 guys they had playing Alfred Hitchcock and Anthony Perkins didn't look even remotely close enough like them. At least the guy playing Hitchcock got his voice and posture decent enough.

Scary level? Maybe a 4 out of 10. Not really too scary at all. Horror (not the same thing) level? 8 out of 10. Freak show level? Eleventy Billion out of 10.

Still behind a few Episodes. Does anyone know where this takes place on the Aliens Timeline?

I still believe that Aliens, the sequel, could go down as one of the greatest movies of all time. Crazy how many actors in that movie went on to have their own success in Hollywood. My favorite was the comedy Bill Paxton brought to the film.

LOL.. I love Bill Paxton in this movie.

Yes, they said Alien Earth takes place in 2120, two years before the original Alien film.
