    1-5?!

That would be one helluva comeback.

History is against it though. Even more so is the fact that Lamar coming back isn't going to fix the defense

When Lamar comes back here is the rest of their schedule:
    Bears
    Dolphins
    Vikings
    Browns
    Jets
    Bengals
    Steelers
    Bengals
    Patriots
    Packers
    Steelers
The Ravens will win at least 9 of those games.

Isn't the Steelers #1 in the league in forceing turnovers? This might work out

I wouldn't count out Minnesota at all. Remember the game that Miami pulled off against Lamar Jackson a while back in 2021?! Guess who was the architect of that Defense; Brian Flores. Why is he being brought up?! Guess which Defense brought the house against a healthy Lamar earlier in the Season?! Steve Spagnola. That Vikings game isn't going to be easy at all. I also wouldn't count out the likes of Chicago either should Caleb and Ben Johnson finally catch their stride. Both have back to back wins and Baltimore's Defense will not be much better for that matchup. Patriots and Packers will not be gimmes either and to sum it up, Pittsburgh ends up splitting Baltimore year in, year out.

I personally don't see nine wins here. Personally I see 5.

The Ravens are giving up like 33 points a game on defense even with Lamar more losses are coming their way.

We'll still beat the Ravens 13-10 because that's what we do.

Agreed. It goes beyond injuries for that defense. They are fundamentally flawed. A lot of man cover DBs but trying to play zone. Holes all over the field.

Zach Orr might be the Matt Canada of their defense right now. Baltimore will win a few just because they are still capable of scoring a lot of points (with LJ). But man that defense is fugly.

To go along with the Steelers dink and dunk offense....

Two good defenses should make this a nailbiter in the 4th quarter again.... sigh.

No don't bench Browning, we want him to be the starter for the TNF matchup vs the Steelers.

I’d take that passing chart over ours to be honest. Lot of those passes fall between 10-20 yards whereas most of our passes are under 10 yards. Plus there are a number of passes over the middle.

Not only that, but only 5 completions on or to the right of the left hash mark. Left handed QB, and passing success almost exclusively to the left side of the left hash. That should definitely be factored into the defensive game plan.

I don't see them winning 9 of those games either. I think if the Steelers win the next 2 games against the Browns and Bengals and the Ravens lose at home to the Rams this week and the Steelers are 5-1 and the Ravens are 1-5 going into their bye week it's going to be very hard for the Ravens to still win this division. Now we have seen the Steelers collapse over the last several years and relinquish 2.5-3 game leads in the division with 6 games left to play so it's not completely impossible to say it couldn't happen. But I just don't see the Ravens going 9-2 in their last 11 games and the Steelers going 4-7. That is almost what would have to happen for the Ravens to still catch them to win the AFC North for right now it just seems like too much to overcome.

Rodgers vs Vikes is definition of dink and dunk. But truly, that's what Flores defense is designed to do. Force the passing game short and hope for mistakes (gee, that sounds familiar):

Right now they are not 1-5 and we are not 5-1. If it does work out that way then yes they would have to sweep us to have a chance.

Oh I remember for sure believe me. I remember 2018 as well when they were 7-2-1 in mid to late November and the Ravens were 4-5 and the Steelers blew a 3-game lead against them with 6 games left as well. I still don't trust Mike Tomlin at all and his ability to bury teams like the Ravens and make winning this division easy for a change. There will be zero excuses at this point if things continue to stay the way they are right now for the Steelers not to win this division. This would be an epic collapse at this point if they do win the next two with the Browns and Bengals and get to 5-1 and the Ravens lose to the Rams this week and drop to 1-5 and the Steelers still find a way to not win the division.

Yep we will see what happens in the next 10 days here. The Ravens at this point are sinking and they desperately need to win that game against the Rams this week and they need the Steelers to lose at least one of these games to either the Browns or Bengals. But youre right for now it hasnt happened yet where the Steelers are 5-1 and the Ravens are 1-5 but if it does as I said in the post above me here there will be ZERO Excuses not to win this division if you are Mike Tomlin.

No, but injuries have decimated that unit and most of those guys are expected back.

    It went from
Steelers don’t stand a chance against healthy Ravens
    To
Somehow the Steelers are now world beaters
Every game the Steelers have left can easily go either way
Fields looked like a HOF against us
Pats and Vikes a play away from a different outcome.
    Worldbeaters we aren’t
Let’s just try and take care of the ball and win by any means necessary
    Go Steelers!
