Bell will make a more immediate impact then Brown, he's a down the road impact guy like all our LB we draft but Bell will be the starter from day 1 (he better be) and will influence wins and losses much more then Brown will initially, we can find another Brown next draft. I know some people would have preferred Brown now and a later round RB but what would a 4th rounder netted you? Someone on Dwyers level most likely. We saw what not having a premier back does to the running game and I like Dwyer but DC aren't going to game plan for RB's with Dwyers talent level. Bell is of course my favorite of the RB's in this class but I would have been happy with Lacy, Ball or Giovani but they were all picked in the 2nd also. Make teams worry about the ground game and it opens things up for Ben, sorry but I don't believe any RB in the 4th round would have been much of an improvement over Dwyer, if any.

On a side note, I think Willimas is going to be a good LB, that lessens the blow of losing out on Brown IMO.

I agree with you the Steelers made the right pick if Bell can be the starter and franchise type of back it was the right move. Brown would be sitting on the bench for 2 years in Dick LeBeau's defense I mean Timmons was the better prospect and he sat on the bench for 3 years, Brown would only contribute on special teams there's more value in drafting Bell.

but then last year you had spence ready as a rookie to either start or see a ton of time. you just never know. if they are smart enough and talented enough they will play. football smarts plays a big role if the play in dicks defense early.
