After watching and listening to Sanders talk on Live and NFL 32, I really hope we re-sign him long term next year. He is Steeler Material!

I liked what he said. Sounded like a team player, threw nobody under the bus and said he understands the FO's position, as well as AB's comments about him.
Also shared some thoughts about last season, and how that motivates them to go better tan 8-8.

If he stays right at what he said, this year we must see an upgrade of our offense.

It seems as though his IQ is greater than the collective IQ of the other two charter members of the YMC. #17 #84

If he can stay on the field, he is as good as any 3rd rounder you will ever find,
His route running is excellent his ball skills are good, He will go get the ball, where your
one trick Pony would not. He and AB and the new guy, wheaton could make up a very formidable wr
corps add in Cotch and Heath Miller when healthy, I think Ben has very nice weapons to work with.
Now the million dollar question? Will the OL afford Ben the time to get it to these weapons?

I don't doubt what he can do when healthy the problem I have is I doubt he stays after this year. If he has a good season steelers won't be able to afford him if he tanks it in like his buddy did who is now in south beach, some one will pay him more. The steelers are to tight against the cap and they still have to get Ben extended and Pouncey. Hopefully Khan can work his magic but I don't see him staying after this year. Heck, he almost left this year.

i think they threw way to much money at brown. looked like a knee jerk reaction to mike not taking that big offer. sanders is really just getting right as far as his feet. the earlier they sign him the less he will cost, i think. we got 5 mil. coming in june. do they lock him up?

The Steelers signed the best WR of the three, lets take away (HIS RETURN DUTIES) and let him
concentrate on his wr duties. AB will out work all the WR on the Steelers roster, he will make
himself better, with proper coaching and barring injury he is a lock 80/1200 yd receiver for the next 5 years.
People watch the seperation he gets watch how he attacks the ball. Is he in Larry's league, probably not
but hardly anyone else is either, plus he is not getting Larry money.

he better get in the EZ. thats what will win games. not yardage and catches. i just think they threw alot of money at one guy that hasen't proven to be a scoring threat and no money to give anyone else. it was like it was to make a point to wallace instead of paying a fair price for the production put up.

Mac, all of us Steeler homers have to realize that players cost money. AB would have gotten the same or more from see (Mike Wallace)from some of these
brain dead owners. I agree he needs to get into the end zone more often, WE WILL NEED HIM TO GET into the end zone. Here is hoping that the new WR
coach and Haley can get the ball into AB's hands where he can actually do something with it. (hence my stand with Lamaar Woodley) OVER PAID.
we can keep going Troy, Kiesel, Ben? Paid to make plays but not doing it on a consistent basis. We need PRO BOWL numbers from these players.
