    i thought kick the FG but we did get one blocked earlier and last week 2 field goals were blocked and run back for TDs - late in the 4th quarter.

    Game plan was good and we were dominating until late in the game. ONE stupid and inexplicable breakdown on defense put the Vikes in business.

    Not blaming Tomlin at all this time.

    For quite a while this was like watching the Steelers about 30 years ago, starring

    Patrick Queen as Chad Brown
    Kenneth Gainwell as Eric Pegram
    Darnell Washington as Eric Green
    DK Metcalf as Yancey Thigpen

    and Keanu Benton as, well- someone who isn't usually Keanu Benton.

    But in the end they turned back into the Tomlin era and made it way closer than it should have been.

    30 fantasy points by Gainwell, too.

    Thats called being a reasonable approach. I myself was one of the biggest Tomlin homers here, even had the screen name Tomlin_Era. But only a person with their head in the sand that never takes in new information and never weighs results and outcomes will blindly stand by him.
