    Appears to be verboten again this year....

    and even when they attempt to pass there, they are not getting much out of it:

    They've been allergic forever in the middle of the field...No excuses with 3 TEs now...

    Apparently our defenders are allergic to that part of the field as well

    I guess I was suckered in by all the preseason hype over how the most awesomest TEs in the NFL will take over Acrisure.

    42% of the Steelers team targets have gone to wide receivers, only Arizona is lower. 31% have gone to tight ends, only two offenses are higher. 27% have gone to running backs, only two offenses are higher.:cool:

    With the three TEs they have they should be far above average.

    A lot of times they are being left in to help the OL
    , and PIs won't show up either like the big PI we got going to Washington last week.

    This is the correct answer. For example, last game Muth ran routes on only about 25% of his snaps. Smith ran routes on less than half his snaps. And Washington? Fagettaboutit....

    Seems like the more successful teams use middle of field. KC comes to mind.
