Tomlin???

Good lord. Are you playing dumb, or do you have that much trouble following? I haven't been around in a while.

 

His replacement should have been drafted sooner and his last contract was a mistake

I don't like to get the smell on me, get around it too much , and it lingers.

 

We passed on both Lamar Jackson AND Jalen Hurts.... Food for thought.

 

No way either of those QBs would have successfully developed on the Steelers like they have on Ravens and Eagles. Tomlin's staff over the years.... has only developed one good backup QB, Mason Rudolph.

 

Maybe, maybe not. We will never know... which is the bad part

When I first started really going sour on him was the Jax playoff game. I could see people still defending him back then. Fast forward 8 years and nothing has changed. I can’t see anyone defending him anymore.

Saw this on YouTube and found it to be a bit humorous. The sad part is that does seem like this is what goes on sometimes with Tomlin.

 

At the end of the day, we can't say for certain, to what degree any individual coach helped a player. In what way do you think he helped Brown become arguably the best receiver in the league for a few years? Not to be argumentative, just looking for opinions.

 

Jimmy Johnson played favorites, too. Was he also a bad coach?

I think things have gotten out of hand to the point that the inmates are running the asylum, but that approach was also how Tomlin got so many elite seasons from Antonio Brown.

 

I think Tomlin got the best out of many players and this idea that he isn't even a good coach is just pure nonsense. That said, even good coaches can be somewhere too long.

 

Extending Tomlin in June 2024 was a big mistake. I can only hope some network offers him a ton of cash. He would be great for television. Of course there is a 3% chance that Art Rooney II trades him.
Tomlin is going to set the NFL record for head coaches not winning a playoff game in 8+ years.

 

I don't know You tell me, how was a 6th round guy that didn't really start for us till his 3rd year get better. Apparently by many on here He was already great, because we can't develop anyone, and he just dropped to the 6th round because the NFL loves us. Ok enough of being a smart a$$. LoL
How does any coach make a player better.....?
They show them how, tell them what they should do to achieve it, and inspire them to do so, and then slowly reward them for the work.

We all know he does a lot.
He just doesn't call all the Defensive, and offensive plays, they call those Ocs, and DCs.
He doesn't make all the Decisions on draft picks, and coaching hires.
Those are called Owners, and GMs.
Hell if people are gullible to believe He does everything SOME people believe he does, I'm surprised if he ever gets fired, hell if You can get a GM, OC, DC, OL coach , DL coach, Wrs Coach, a Ventriloquist, a person with telekinetic abilities, and the owner out of one guy , and You still average 10.5 wins a season............
You can't let that guy go, He's a Human dynamo of mega proportions.
