Didn't I read Mateer was side-arm delivery? Those will get batted down in the NFL.

    He is already short.

He does and his pocket passes are sometimes tipped a bit to often. Having said that I think he is a 1st round QB.

I know the Steelers have sent scouts to both of the Oklahoma games.

Jayden Maiava keeps getting better. No doubt that is due in part to Lincoln Riley.. or at least his ability to create Heisman Level QBs. Getting back to Maiava though, he has literally every physical and athletic tool a team could ever want. All about going to the right place.

If he declares?! I'd imagine Pittsburgh would give him a look. This is all under the assumption that he declares but also if he will even be considered late 1st. Should he continue his dominance this season, dude is likely going to declare for he does possess Top 5 Pick Potential.

He is impressive, BUT he has played an easy schedule so far and has only been sacked 2 times in four games. IE, he has had great OL protection so far.

Maiava's arm talent and mobility have shone against lesser competition, but Big Ten tests like Oregon and Michigan will be his first true top 25 proving grounds in 2025.

He has always had the talent. The lack of fundamentals and discipline were his biggest obstacles. Lincoln provides that. As far as Oregon and Michigan go?! Both fair points.

Should he perform well in both?! Book him as a Top 5 Selection. Again though, should he perform well in both games.

We know it will be the Saints getting the #1 pick, because they will likely go 0-17 with Rattler at QB :hehehe:.

Nuss has been solid compared to some of the other QBs like Klubnik.

    Klubnik is also overrated
If the rest of season goes like it has been in college… not a good qb class

The Aints are the betting favorite to get first pick in next year’s draft

Sellers just tries to do too much sometimes. For instance, he completed a bomb to 1 yd line, next play he takes a 20yd sack!
He done that a few times in Missouri game. He throws a pretty deep ball.

Thumb Injury still doesn't do enough to knock Mateer out of the Top 10 overall list of selections for me. Dude has been a man on a mission. If not him, Garrett Nussmeier is rounding into form himself. Both are good number one overall candidates.

I still say Fernando Mendoza V has the best shot. His performance against Illinois was great. Next up?! Oregon on October 11th. Gonna be a good one between him and Dante Moore.
