where did he end up going. i liked him in college. he was a strong runner. i wish he would of stayed at Penn State though. him leaving kind of made me question his character.

He stayed at USC. Why would that make you question his character? That was a messed up situation and don't blame anyone for leaving.

Yeah really Big, the NCCA decimated that program and totally unfair to the kids, don't blame him one bit, his future is at stake.

he didn't really have to lie like he did when he transferred. he said he wanted to look out for his education but i knew a few players on the team who weren't affected by the scandal at all academically. if he wanted to boost his draft stock by getting a chance to compete in a bowl game, he should have been more upfront about that. i wouldn't blame him one bit if he were being honest, but it didn't seem like he was.

he mainly talked up a lot of fluff to cushion the blow that a lot of Penn State football fans would have inevitably given him. i don't hate him at all and i honestly didn't blame him for transferring, but i wish he would have been more honest about transferring to help better his chances of turning pro. he didn't really have to fluff up his motives.

You're just speculating that it has nothing to do with academics, doesn't mean he isn't being honest. I thought that was a pretty good press release and even if it was a little fluff, so what, when you break up with your gf, don't you try to soften the blow or are you just brutally honest?

Me neither but I do hold the university responsible for screwing over Jo Pa. For that I will never go to Happy Valley again.

my problem is that he made it about his education. up until that situation the education he was getting at Penn State seemed just fine. he like all these other guys that have transferred should just come out and say why they want to leave.

Penn State is going to struggle for the next 10 years and they have no chance at going to a bowl in the next 4 years and i dont want to be a part of that. my goal is to get to the NFL and i dont think playing at Penn State gives me the best chance for that do to the circumstances. end of quote. that would be perfectly acceptable to say.

im not blaming any of these guys that have left. i just want them to be honest as to why they are leaving. we all know and by sugar coating it it just made them look bad in my eyes. i still would love to see him in a Steelers uniform some day.

LOL, yeah, no Big, sorry but he would get destroyed if he said it like that. There's a reason people use PR agencies for this stuff.
