how i feel about our 2013 draft

    I don't think that people had him as the best OLB out there, I think we had him as a good OLB prospect in the 3rd round range. Anyway, that was my thought. He would be good value starting round 3 for a 3-4 team in need of OLB help. The Ravens got themselves a good pass rusher who will never stop churning toward the QB until the whistle.

    Exactly, and Steel1031, I just thought he'd be a great leader for this defense for years to come, both with his play and in the locker room, that's all I meant, I didn't mean for it to sound like he was the top LB in the draft, just that he brings something else to the table that doesn't come around often.

    Gotcha ya! I think we have one in williams if he can cover. Apparently at fsu they took him off the field. It wasnt cause he couldnt they just play alotnof dbs

    And as I've said before...maybe the team did not like those players or have them ranked higher...maybe they didnt want another RB or S after taking them already. Just because we or the experts think someone else is ranked higher or better than a player a team goes for...doesn't mean the team thinks that way. They stuck to THEIR board and saw the value there and went for it. It doesnt matter what any of us or the experts think or where we have people ranked.

    Exactly what I have been saying people saying drafting Bell in the 2nd round is a reach, the Steelers had him rated as the best player on their board.

    Seriously! :facepalm: Lot of sensitive people around here too, getting to the point I'm nervous to speak out against anything the regime does. And all I did is say that I didn't like that pick! Not like I'm trashing Colbert and calling for his fire or saying how much this draft sucks and how awful we will be, all of which I have seen the last few days :lolol: Fact is, I loved this draft but I guess I have to like every single pick they make too!

    This is an interesting perspective - thanks for sharing. Its quite reassuring to hear, as I know very little about these guys.
