I would consider finding a spot for Jabrill Peppers on kickoffs. I fully support taking Johnson off the field here, but we can't make our starting RB the long term option back there. We can't just deactivate Kaleb without promoting a RB to the 53. If we do end up doing something like that, I'd support cutting Connor Heyward for that promotion.

 

How about coaching up Kaleb Johnson. Put him in some situations that rebuilds his confidence, like the 3rd and 1 or the 4th and 1. If he has any intestinal fortitude he will dominate short yardage situations.

 

I would say since all our games have been close that maybe they have seen something in practice that makes them not want to right now.

 

Put Connor Heyward back there. Since he is wasting a roster spot might as well try to make him do something worthwhile.

#6 Ashton Jeanty: 2 games played averaging 2.7 yards per carry on 30 carries for 81 yards. 2 receptions for 2 yards.
#22 Omarion Hampton : 2 games played currently averaging 3.1 yards per carry on 23 carries for 72 yards. 3 receptions for 14 yards.

I would assume that neither the Chargers or Raiders have any intention of pulling these under performing RBs anytime soon.

My favorite RB of the two was Omarion Hampton, was benched in week 2 after a late fumble that could of cost his team the game for Najee Harris.

Kaleb Johnson needs more carries, not to be buried on the bench or Inactive on game day.
