Things I've Heard on Here.

That's a great freaking scene. It cracked me up the 1st time as a kid watching it in a drive in theater, and it still cracks me up when I watch it now.

If they fired Mike Tomlin tomorrow, I would root for the next coach, just like I rooted for Cowher when he took, C.Nolls spot, and have rooted for Tomlin when he took Cowhers spot, but I don't have to make stuff up just because of, I don't know why.......like......
1. The defense never changes , it's the same thing since Tomlin took over, when anyone that really understands what they are looking at has seen the tendencies, and even types of personnel changes with each DC we have had.
2. He calls all the plays, on Offense, and Defense.
He would have to be a very , very , very talented, and genius of a man to remember all the offensive , and Defensive plays, blitzes, protections, and personnel for each group, especially since you never see him looking at, or calling off from a play sheet.
So he's either a freaking Genius, or people don't know what the hell they are talking about.
That is ,but a small example.
Just me ,but when I don't like a person, I just don't like them, I have never seen the need to make up stuff up to go along with it.

 

LoL. Why would you doubt it. I said we sucked when we went 8-8. I can't remember how I felt last time we only won 7 games. It's been a while.
What I won't do is say we suck after 1-1......just like I didn't fall into the trap of saying we should have kept Justin Fields after one game, I knew better.

Sucky football is played by all the teams here, and there. I don't sweat it yet. I bet a lot of what they wanted to do is being hampered by the injuries.
For instance. They wanted to use Ramsey everywhere, and now they can't, and that is a small sample.
It's not over till it's over brother.

 

Actually closer to NINE YEARS at this point in time, soon to be a decade of futility, and the loyal Tomlinites stand by their man. Surely, Marv Lewis had his fan club too.

It's a truly remarkable coaching job that the Steelers have done if the defense has made changes over the last few years. Imagine all these changing schemes, players, tendencies and still being able to get the same results of poor run stopping, allowing explosive 3rd down completions, and long scoring drives. That takes some real coaching skills to pull that off.

He had 6 losing seasons, no playoff wins ever, and never went to a SB. You would be a fool to compare it with here, but You know this.

 

Why would You even compare a HC that had 6 losing seasons, never went to a SB, and never won a playoff game to a HC that has been to two SBs, has won multiple playoffs games, and has never has a losing season???
Unless you are just comparing skin pigmentation.

A differentiator is that while I could see a few of the teams supposedly worse beating the Steelers in a one-off, I can't currently see the Steelers defeating anybody rated better in a playoff. Maybe the Chargers or Broncos. Vikes if McCarthy doesn't improve.

Steelers have sucked and have been overrated since January of 2018. I don't care about the 11-0 start in 2020. I don't care about non-losing seasons. I don't care about going 8-8 with Rudolph and Hodges in 2019. No playoff wins in 8 years. Noll's longest playoff win drought was 4 years. Cowher's longest playoff win drought was 3 years. Tomlin sucks, his methods and philosophies are outdated.... he needs to go. Period.
